Hong Kong people simply want China to follow the agreement and maintain their autonomy. China is undergoing a process to gamify the financial system (Alipay) by giving points to everyone who acts or associates with people who are considered more patriotic and improving their chances of life simply by acting in life and social media in accordance to the nations best interests at all time. If the Chinese like it this way, like living in a censored world with their namesake freedoms - I have nothing against them but I respect the people of Hong Kong in standing up against a giant they know they cannot defeat.

English media has huge influence in HK, because HK colony history also due to intentional port and financial center.

Those young HKers are brainwashed by western media so badly, they have to learn by hard lesson.

HK need political reform and economical reform immediately, this can only be done after the mess. US CIA, UK MI6 and west media in general are destroying HK for short term, but helping China for long run.

Shenzhen is fast becoming one 0f the most important cities in the world. This alone speaks volumes. All anti China propaganda becomes pale in front of this reality. Nothing short of a miracle for a city barely 40 years old built up from scratch.

Very simple, some Hong Kong people think they are British, So those people can immigrate to the UK, Just like you immigrated to the US
