People often say the guy was a traitor along with Bhutto but by independence, he didn’t mean a separate country, listen to what he has to say and for, your judgement

And the opinion of non Bangladeshis matters to you? Why do we need to prove Mujib's intentions, they don't justify their actions for us, do they ?

It's been 50 years, anybody still bitter over the past is living life in the wrong direction.

Sensible Pakistanis will know that the past is the past.

People in power let '71 come down to mindless violence, and the rest is history. Nobody can change what happened nor can the dead come back to life.

The future, however, is still in our hands and what we choose to do with it, will define how we will be remembered and how our two nations go forward. Getting over old wounds and forging new ties is what the future calls for.

What is done is done. No point crying over spilled milk, what matters today is to get rid of corrupt people from the government and build a develop country.

Mujeeb was a traitor not because of Independence but because what his family did after independence. They acted as if they owned the country and if that coup didn't happen, Bangladesh would be worse than Syria right now.

They deserved to be free. Even thought they are a seperate country i am happy they are free muslims and in that sense they are still commected to us.

Sometimes they seem to be better muslims than us pakistaniz.

Since they are free and happy and we are free and happy it a a win win.

I just wish there was no opression from us on them if there was. For sure Allah does not like opressive people.

That was a different time 1970s a different generation they are old now many will die soon from that grneration. Its a our new generation now and we should learn from history and be just and united people.

Past is gone look towards the future we are muslims connected thru Allah and his book and his law. One nation.

As for him being a traitor or not constitution of Pakistan and our institutions would possibly consider him one because he went against pakistan however to bangladesh and his people he is surely a hero who liberated them.

Its a matter of perspective and politics :p:

They are free and happy and we are free and happy that should he enough in 2020.

Do yourself and your family a favour, look up 'Digital Security Act 2018'...

Yes, you're quite welcome

Although I agree with you and I’m sure many Pakistanis do too but desis are bitter nostalgic people and I’ve seen quite often people accuse him of being a traitor... they forget yahya and Bhutto or the dogs like tajuddin and others that signed treacherous deals with India during the war. I just want people to be well informed of who they should blame

If any son of Mujib really did bad thing ( although there is no concrete evidence of it) , then that does not make Mujib Himself a traitor . Mujib was unaware of many bad acts of his own people . However still nothing justifies the murder of Mujib and his family . Sheikh Russel was only 10 years old that time .

If you really support this coup , still they only could through Mujib out from power .They murdered the whole family instead. Only evils can murder a baby , only evils can justify killing an innocent baby .

Which baby ? None of Mujib's children were toddlers/babies when they were assassinated.
