On September 16, 2017, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan while welcoming Sharif in Istanbul commended his leadership skills. “Under your leadership, the journey of development and prosperity of Punjab is commendable and the efforts of Pakistan government for the provision of energy as well as the eradication of terrorism are worthwhile,” he expressed his sentiments.

“The projects initiated in collaboration with Turkey in the Punjab province are vivacious symbols of Pak-Turk friendship,” said Erdogan.

During a meeting on May 16, 2017, Minister of Communist Party of China (CPC) Wang Yajun, said that Punjab had attained major development goals in his tenure which was surprising as well as impressive.

One of the greatest achievements of the CM Punjab is the introduction of a computerised school system in the province. Every student in a government school in Punjab is now individually tracked through a computerised enrolment system. It’s one of the largest school information management systems in the world, with 11,457,895 enrolled students (11.4 Million). This month each school will start reporting daily attendance of these students on computer tablets.

There are deliberate attempts in the Western and indian media to portray this Thug Shehbaz as a "good guy". And here are two main reasons why this is happening:

- US is loosing influence in Pak. In fact Nawaz was an asset not only to US but also to india cause he had his hands full of betrayals. NS absolutely fuc.ked up Pak's foreign policy. They want Shehbaz to form the government so that they can continue to manipulate and create national security issues for the military.

-The Pak media has been paid very well to carry such "good" news about Shehbaz, and that is why he is everywhere in the news these days.

These two thugs need to be hanged by the balls not made into PMs. It is absolutely pathetic that the powers to be in Pak and the agencies would ONCE AGAIN allow this filthy monkey buniess to continue on. Ordinary people have been suffering immensely for so long, and these agencies are doing nothing.

Alif Ailaan releases report on education reforms by Punjab Govt

alif-ailaan-releases-report-on-education-reforms-by-punjab-govt-1520439727-6119.jpg

Alif Ailaan has released a five year report on the education reforms by Punjab Government.
In press statement Alif Ailaan announces that Government of Punjab has invested in the most complex and ambitious set of education reforms around human resource management, school infrastructure and overall educationsector governance that have produced positive outcomes over the past 5 years. However, significant challenges in actualizing reform ambitions continue to persist. This was highlighted in “2013-2018 Five years of education reform: Punjab Wins, losses and challenges for the future 2018-2023”.

The Punjab Education Sector Reform Programme (PESRP) and School Education Reforms Roadmap provided a holistic strategy for achieving systemic sectorial improvements over the last five years. These reforms put a special emphasis on higher enrolment and retention, improved learning outcomes and quality of education , and a better managed, monitored and administered education sector.

Some of the flagship efforts under the programme include developing improved monitoring systems, improving the provision and quality of teaching, restructuring of governance systems through District Education Authorities (DEA), a robust public-private partnership programme through Punjab EducationFoundation (PEF), and the development of interventions that strengthen incentives and accountability for service delivery performance.

The last five years witnessed a substantial level of political and financial investment backed by unprecedented technical innovation in tackling the education crisis in Punjab, but the gains of the reforms enacted are still fragile. Enrolment, retention, learning outcomes, public financial management, school infrastructure, discrepancies in the data regime and centralisation of all these efforts continue to pose substantial challenges to the provincial authorities.

Dr Mariam Chugtai spoke about the issues that stop children from gaining education. She was of the view that no matter how many schools were made, “If a child is earning for a family they won’t agree on sending their children as they are an earning hand. While the girls also stay back at home because they believe that they would get married in the end so why waste money on them.”

Ateed Riaz, the Co-Founder of The Citizens Foundation said, “Till such times we don’t set our priorities right, the education system of Pakistan would keep suffering. We need to give education the same importance as our nuclear bomb was given, only then things would change for the better.”

Speaking at the launch of the report, Rana Mashood said ‘‘Punjab Government has started Chief Minister’s Stocktake Initiative and worked towards Public-Private Partnerships that have helped not only with accountability but also policy-making ensuring effective and timely solutions.’’

The event was also attended by prominent lawmakers from across the country, including Sardar Hussain Babak, Faisal Subzwari, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Raza Haroon, Usman Kakar, Samia Raheel Qazi, Ahmad Iqbal Chaudhry, Amna Sardar, Barrister Masood, Nusrat Seher Abbasi, Noor Saleem Khan, and Waqas Jafri.

Punjab, Five Years of Education Reforms

Wins, losses and challenges for the future

Most analysis of education sector indicators demonstrates Punjab’s performance advantage over the other three provinces. Since 2003, the province has undertaken a variety of interventions, which have produced positive outcomes and, subsequently, introduced challenges that come along with a raised baseline. As the first province to engage in a comprehensive reform effort around human resource management, school infrastructure, and overall education sector governance, the marginal effort required now to enrol each additional out of school child in school and to improve learning outcomes of each under- performing student is both greater and of a qualitatively different nature. This sets the reform challenge in Punjab apart from those in the other provinces. To achieve more success, the quantum of effort required in the Punjab is higher. This is both an indicator of the success of the province thus far, and a prompt for the recognition of the need for renewed focus on the urgency and importance of reforms.

This report recognises the singular nature of the challenge confronting policymakers in Punjab, and attempts to take stock of both their successes and the challenges they continue to face. Both of these, in turn, help lay out a roadmap for the next ve years, with the hope that it can help meet the objective of providing quality school education to every child in the province.

Shenzhen Speed is past, Punjab Speed is present

shenzhen-speed-is-past-punjab-speed-is-present-1491510716-2514.jpg

LAHORE - A group of Chinese investors during a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday expressed their interest in putting money in the construction of low cost houses in the province.

The houses to be developed in bulk would aim at catering to the sheltering needs of the people of low income group in the province.

The Chinese delegation of investors was led by Ren Zhineng, chairman of the Board and Party Secretary of Chengdu Xingcheng Investment Group.

The chief minister welcomed offer of the Chinese investors and assured them every help and availability of facilities in the development of houses for the middle and lower middle class group.

Ren said on the occasion that they were much impressed by the speed , transparency and quality in the development projects in Punjab under the supervision of Shehbaz Sharif. He said in his country, the classical Chinese axiom ‘Shenzhen speed’ has been replaced by ‘Punjab speed’ which is not only a recognition to the expeditious completion of projects in Punjab but also a confidence in the Punjab leadership.

He said they have personally seen the speedy completion of the projects and transparency therein. He also lauded the Lahore Metro Bus and the under-completion Lahore Orange Line Metro Train, saying these projects will provide international standard of travelling.

“Such projects are glaring examples of the extraordinary leadership qualities of the CM Shehbaz Sharif,” he added.

Ren informed that their group is quite willing to invest money in the housing sector of the province for the development of low cost houses for the poor. He further said their group is also ready to promote cooperation with Punjab in the Urban Development projects.

Shehbaz Sharif said that new avenues of friendship and cooperation between China and Pakistan are opening up through multi billions projects like CPEC and others. “CPEC is an epoch making project going to put Pakistan-China friendship and their economic cooperation to new heights,” he added.

The chief minister lauded the personal interest expressed by the Chinese president and the prime minister in the progress and development of Pakistan. The CPEC, he said, has added to foreign investment in Pakistan while a number of countries have evinced interest in becoming part of this economic corridor.

The CM also highlighted the large scope in the housing sector of Punjab and the Chinese companies and groups which had already invested in various development sectors of the province. He said a number of jobs will also be created through the construction of low cost houses hence the scheme will also help absorb the unemployed.

Don't worry PTI would raise this issue when he file paper for nomination election commission further there are several pending cases against him would be reopen again. Same would be happend with Mariyam and then Hamza and this will keep happening until the elect Ch. Nisar since they will run out of candidates.

Ch. Nisar is such a nice game planner

Ch. Nisar will be next P.M candidate and Javed Hashmi probably C.M Punjab that is how they decided to end monarchy in Pakistan. Next election will be the last one for Sharief family since through courts they all being made dishonest :partay:
