This is totally barbaric and insane. Beating a sheep to death with a baseball bat is utter madness. We have eaten various animals/fish since humans was born. Therefore, becoming vegetarian is not an answer. The only answer is to kill the animal bred for meat as painlessly as possible. Just because the sheep was going to be killed and eaten anyway does not mean that it had to be tortured to death the way it was.

I would not however generalise this to be the common American trait as there are many Americans who are kindhearted and humane like the rest of us.

although you are being naughty here I know that but to let you know that all meat eating people have respect for their food including animals. and they find the most humane and dignified way to kill it to eat.

beating an animal to death for the sake of fun is totally different thing. as a vegetarian its hard to understand but check with Jewish and Christians how they do that if you are not satisfied with the way Muslims do that (our method is same as jewish)

just because some of us are meat eaters doesn’t mean we dont have the feeling for the animals. just like looking after the crops we look after the animals too and find the quickest and least painful ways to kill them fast so that we can eat them. If you want to discuss about the morality and necessarily of meat eating vs. being a pure vegetarian then please do start a thread and we can have a civil discussion. But no one-liners please.
