Murder is a murder either you kill someone with kicks, poison or by putting garlands around his neck and then surgically nicking the carotids.

Hindus and Sikhs too sacrifice animals on different occasion for religious reasons. Hindus were doing these practises since thousands of years Sikhs use goat blood to worship their old weapons once in a year in their Gurdwaras.

Since Hindu practises were used as punching bags to make their own malpractices sound better by few other religions; the animal sacrifice to Goddesses took more battering, been called as barbaric and evil on every occasion. Now the animal sacrifice is a dying tradition in Hinduism, rarely seen and people instead of sacrificing animal head has started placing whole coconut in offering. Just some info preemptively since i know where this thread will end up; asking tough questions.

Honestly speaking illness of war is quite comman for the US soldiers as these guys are used to live in their safe neighbourhood but as soon as they steep into the deserts of ME something strikes their mind.
Last year I even read a news about a styker division soldiers who used to kill afghans and collect their tumbs as a rememberance.

This is animal cruelty to extreme, even if they killed the sheep for a meal, they could have put a bullet in it's head.
Recently there was a case in UK, where a woman put a pet Cat in a bin, albeit no harm was done to the animal, still she was charged and became the target of hate mail campaign.
