TTP broke the back of tribal leadership in a brutal manner long time ago and was never seen as friendly by the tribals. The tribals only want to be given peace and stability.

There is no such prevalent sentiment which would make tribals seek revenge for those who have murdered many pakhtoon leaders and prominent figures in order to establish a reign of terror.

Pakistan Army has come a long way from Tambolas and choona karwais of 90's. It has been a bloody road but our army has made it to the few best. The crisis absorbing capacity of Pakistan Army is immense. Only wish we had solid strong political leadership to back our army. The kind of leadership that knows more about national interest then men in uniform, the true statesmen. Our political elite just never had the capacity nor the will. Leave them the state of affairs for a century and you will not even find ruins of this country. Maturity through experience does not apply to people who do not have will to stand up to the challenge.
