mine is ...rather boring actually.
the CRH between Guangzhou and Shenzhen, from 0630 to 2330, approximately 10 to 12 mins a shift, 1 h 12 mins covering the whole distance, several stops in the middle. ticket price 79.5 RMB (used to be 80, don't know why they changed).
it's practically a bus, or better than bus with no traffic.

i usually book and pay online by cell, sometimes go directly to the station then use the automatic ticket machines.
nothing to complain except for too crowded and they automatically changed my seat ticket to no seat a few times.

From the year of humiliation to humbleness and to a sense of great advancement and pride, we have been working hard for each kilometer earned and from there can we take it to the level of greatness?

Safe, clean, comfortable, hospitable and punctual we hope the concept of our HSR experience can be applied to other areas when we are still in the process of development

Since the day of Wenzhou accident and receiving of massive attacks and ridicules around the globe,
"23 July 2011 – ChinaWenzhou train collision" please check this list out from the date of our train tragedy
to present.

RIP and solace to all the aggrieved!

We did learn a lot from the history. But real attacks towards CRH were from domestic side, like what I wrote, lobby from airlines, general hatred towards any achievements on railway. I was attacked online just because of saying something like Chinese should enlarge HSR investment. The real lesson is , learn from this lesson, but get improved.
Up to now, it goes well, people gradually change their original image towards Chinese railway, dirty, unpunctual, like a journey of refugee. That's why I was so gratified to see so many people now reckon CRH as their first choice, like Shanghai-Beijing, Xiamen-Shenzhen, or intercity services like Shanghai-Nanjing/Hangzhou, Wuhan-Yichang and so on. More than 16000km by the end of 2014, but far from enough, long way to go. And also something about CRH should be improved, like what @Gufi said, limited English .And from my perspective, the speed in key lines should be returned to 250/350kph. Limiting speed is not about safety.(Wenzhou train collision happened at a speed less than 100kph). Like in an expressway, driving slowly is even more dangerous. Anyway, the hardest time is gone, but never be content of what it has achieved.

Thanks Bro. The ticket fare is basically the same nation-widely. But for Shenzhen-Guangzhou, the most blood-sucking Guangzhou Railway adds extra money(I beg u don't know that). The same distance in other railway bureau only requires around 65 RMB for G-series and 40 RMB for D-series, like Shanghai-Wuxi. Reason? Cause you guys are rich in Pearl River Delta. Just joking, it's about GUANGSHEN Railway Co.,Ltd.......a Co.Ltd in the stock market!!!! But since people there get used to it and this line becomes part of their life, so? Shareholders are happy!

I still remembered my first time of CRH(China Railway High-speed) journey back in 2008 when I traveled in Jiangnan as a newbie backpacker. The train was from Nanjing to Changzhou on the upgraded old Nanjing-Shanghai Line. At that time, I hoped CRH trains would operate in my hometown, cosy, speedy and punctual. Then, it came true with the inauguration of Wuhan-Guangzhou HSR Line in 2009. In 2010, I took a slow train from Wuhan to Guangzhou for approximately 10 hours and when I took a CRH train back, amazingly, less than 4 hours(1069km)!

In 2011, when the Wenzhou train collision happened, I was adventuring in Tibet, grieved, frustrated and in unbearable agony of mountain sickness of EBC’s 5200 metre above the sea level. Later, the speed of CRH was lowered from 250/350kph to 200/300kph in spite of the fact that this accident should be attributed mostly to poor management rather than technology itself. Later, media’s criticism, netizens’s hatred and perhaps aviation giants’ lobbies impelled the whole HSR business to be nearly on the verge of collapse. Whereas, when it came to 2014, all of a sudden, HSR in China seemed to receive its brightest afterlife.

I have been keeping an eye on CRH’s development for long no matter when it was at its lowest scenario or in its supreme glory. As for me, Taoist ideas are deeply rooted in my thoughts, a sort of juste-milieu, i.e., speaking highly of CRH while it was at its lowest point and finding something inadequate and deficient while it was highly acclaimed by the majority. Blind oppositions and maniac supports do nothing good for the country.

After my murmuring and gabbling, I’d like to tell you, I post this thread mainly to encourage anyone who has some real experiences of CRH journeys to talk about your personal story. You can just upload a photo of your own(news pictures are abundant enough here in PDF) or tell us one of your trips by CRH. Besides, you are advised to point out some shortcomings you’ve perceived during your own CRH trips and of course, modest compliments are welcomed when you truly find something worth praising.

@Yizhi @birdy @hexagonsnow @xudeen @cirr @TaiShang @Edison Chen @cnleio @sweetgrape @Keel @Tractor and many many more here who may have some stories to share.:-)
@Nihonjin1051 Deng Xiaoping's visit to Shinkansen in1978 comes to my mind.:-)

plus, the C-seire (c=intercity) is one of the slowest intercity in China. 139 km 1h 10min,seriously? Beijing to Tianjin intercity is 30-40 min / 120km / 54.5RMB. I personally have deep sympathy for you guys but since you guys have one the highest salary in China then who cares?:yahoo:

Drawbacks
1, more trains required! I didn't buy a ticket in advance since it was not at weekend. But I waited for 1HOUR and previous two all sold out!!!
2, Tons of people were pouring through check-in machines, no special pass-way for the elderly and passengers with child. Or they should let them enter first like in some other stations.
