İste bu rezilliktir. İste bu utanmazlıktır. İste bu karaktersizliğin daniskasıdır.
Önce yazılanı okuyup anla. Kimse 100% Türk değil demiyor ki benim hiç umrumda değildir 100% Türk olaması yada olmaması. Elbette kimse önce sürünmeden koşamaz. Why should we be ashamed of taking a proven design modify it for own needs?

What you are doing here is dicrediting the people who work on this projects day and night, because some people say 100% yerli ve milli...

The IP rights belong to us, so why all that negative talk?

Hisar A/O would have localized Iris missile, In the Mean time Tubitak would develop Our local missile, Development of Irıs equvilant missile we be 15+ years. Instead, We bough IP for this missile and We get a key technology aka Dual pulse engines with this purchase. This was all publicly known and was talked on all military forums. This is literally shaved a decade from our Göktuğ development program. And More importantly we have no restriction on imports Since We got the rights and We produce it locally and We modified signicantly.

Hisar missiles are large missiles with many mistakes that was made in concept design phase and afterward. They will do their jobs perfectly, But they are not the cutting edge technology of the future. No need to argue about past, Hisar SAM will get upgrade when Göktug program is ready. More importantly, Göktug had much leaner development with clearly cutting edge end result which we should be proud. Göktuğ program is future of our A2A missile systems as well as our SAM systems.

Are you sure about this ? I thought Hisar A and O is domestic product.

This is the first time I heard of this (the localized Iris missile thing). Can you provide a source for this? I remember there were comparisons for the missiles of Hisar A and O with Aster missiles (with and without boosters) which look similar.

What’s means localized missile? Same as MKEK smoothbore gun which will Altay use?

Yes I'm sure, 4+ years ago this was discussed in Savunma türk Forum,
After Deihl engineer I talked to claimed it was unmodified Iris t sl which I asked the for conformation. Harzemsah and Turan argued about this. Arda was also commented there if I am not mistaken. Forum died years ago, and that topic isn't available in way back machine backups i tried. Though way back machine is great tool. And it wouldn't surprise me you can find it in some other back up date.

@bismark as far as I remember, It has locally developed electronics and modified dual pulse engine though outer shell wasn't modified back then.
