Bottom line is when a political party can dictate will of a citizen with threats that is a terrorist organization becasue it threatens violence against a person living peacefully in country

MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan seems to have given in to the Shiv Sena. He cancelled a dinner with Pakistan's entertainment channel after facing opposition from the party.
Last week the Shiv Sena had targeted the actor for being a part of a Pakistani TV channel's event at a time when India was commemorating the 2nd anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

On Friday, the organiser of the gala dinner and dance program was adamant that Shah Rukh Khan will be attending despite pressure from India, while later, their website said announced postponement of the Shahrukh Khan Gala Dinner to be held on Sunday 28th Nov in London due to unavoidable and untenable circumstances.

It is not known yet whether the event was cancelled due to the Shiv Sena pressure alone, but Shah Rukh is likely to discuss the reasons for the cancellation later on Monday.

Now tell me does it make any difference between SRK attending Gala pak channel dinner in london and you participating on pakistani defence board.

Why cant they figth the terrorists. Is their manliness get proved only in attacking and killing unarmed people in riots.and when they meet their equivalent like kasabs they wither away to their holes.

Its not about proving your manliness in such an event. It will be mess if each patriot jump on the road to fight idiots carrying automatic guns. Taking the fight in your hand in such an event will be one of stupid act on part of anybody whether or not he is patriot or manly. good thing at the hour of event was to stay away from the venue and let the specialist people from army do the job.

I am not denying Shiv sainiks are goons but it is then the duty of police to control them and protect the unarmed people. BTW how many riots after 1992 have they been involved in. you are making blanket statements as if they kill innocent non-Hindus on a daily basis.

This guy claiming to be Indian, is more concerned about SRK cancelling dinner with Pakistan TV then seeing the blood of innocents splattered on the roads by those barbaric terrorists, whose identity has been verified beyond doubt to be coming from Pakistan.

I do not like Shiv sena in any form and am a great fan of SRK, but that does not mean he has the freedom to over ride the sensitivities of the people.
True he might have agreed out of ignorance not knowing the consequences, and it is also the fault of the TV crew to have timed the dinner at such a strange date.

I am mostly against the shiv Sena and their tactics. Bunch of idiots who do what they do and get away with it because it's India. Had it been an western country, Half the party leadership and workers would be in prison.

SRK should have been smart enough to understand that Someone will come after him for indulging himself on 26/11, so he has himself to blame.
