The NY route was stopped because the airlines have to pick up dead bodies which is a priority cargo this means that they effectively have to let go of the money making cargo, but PIA left the body which started to rot. PIA was consequently fined for negligence, which they did not wanted to pay. When PIA was winding down and on the last flight they had to take another dead body which they left behind so that the PIA management and crew can take back their own stuff.
