By the other side, there is something more easy than all his.

You dont need AD9361 neither FPGA if you just want only a normal GNSS receiver, there are hardware designed solutions that do the job, cheaply and more efficiently.

That board is the rf comm center of drone, besides GNSS receiver, and if the drone has some electronic warfare weak point then it's there.

That FPGA must be reversed engineered by any mean, and analyze every line in search of bugs.

There are no amplifiers on the Geran board. Only transformers and feeder.
An amplifier is not needed to receive a GNSS signal. Four channels are used for spoofing suppression. And it requires special firmware.
Geran contains a cropped simple GPS antenna, which indicates a modification.
Only one channel is used for transmission. This is clearly seen in the photo of the wreckage. And it's not connected anywhere.

These boards arent that much special, people out there who specialized in analogue and RF design, can design such RF Processing boards, and FPGA arent any technology that is rare, a lot of vendors that perfected their exp in FPGA based embedded design, i do my self ARM MCU board design for embedded platforms in my company, although i have almost zero knowledge in VHDL and RF system design but i had a junior who was pro in RF and mixed signal system design and now he is working for infinion in Germany.

I saw people hyped TI BUCK switches how iran got those, they are available in mouser, digikey or any chinese online chip/ electronics supplier site.
Analogue Device is a very well know vendor for RF Amplifiers and processing units as well as power switches and other stuffs.

The question is to develop a board that performs specifically for any GNSS , requires a lot twerking and experience in signal n system design as well as mixed signal electronics.
