Unfortunately it appears to be a smaller X-wing kamikaze drone like a Lancet.
Was it true in Syria? Yes!Guys, do you think that this is true?
Iranian instructors are based in occupied Kherson and Crimea and helping Russia launch Shahed-136 drone attacks against Ukraine": Ukrainian government
Because Iran is not part of the war. Russians can buy our drones and do whatever they want with them including using them against the Ukraine if they so choose but Iran is not involved in this conflict. Instructors may be training Russians but why would you send them to internationally recognized Ukrainian territory? Was it true in Syria? Yes!
Then why not in Ukraine?

Exactly, it is actually very reckless for such a thing to be true. Easy to target with HIMARS if foundThey have no reason to be that close to the frontlines, You could launch these from Moscow and still hit targets in western Ukraine.
Maybe you are right from military standpoint. Iran is not overtly engaged in this hot operation but covertly, im not sure.Because Iran is not part of the war. I remember when i read some comments and ideas of Donbass warriors a couple of years ago in a Russian forum, they claimed to receive munition from Iranian IRGC. I don't know it was true or just a part of the western propaganda .
One thing i am sure about, is that Iran is completely engaged in a geopolitical conflict with west from Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon to east of Europe. A covert alliance against NATO is most possible.
You mean the part where the U.S. supposedly lied about Iran will give Russia drones? No, Russians were trained in Iran, and there is nothing special about these drones that would require anything further, except the US/Israel/Ukraine needs for propaganda.
Probably trying to stop a possible counter offensive in that direction since the Russians know they are in trouble if a third one comes in similar to Kherson and Kharkiv. What I believed would be a slow day yesterday night, turned out it was not. Their didn't appear to be any UAS launches on October 14th. But at night, a wave was used.
Attacks mainly centered in Zaporizhzhia and Krivoy Rog

An interesting clip surfaced, that is purported be a Geran-2/Shahed-136 used against a small column of UKR troops.
It was hard to see at first but you can see the projectile coming in a high rate of speed.
What is interesting is this is the second video now showing recon filming of strikes near the front line that has surface in last few days. This one looks like it hit the road directly adjacent to the vehicle, likely resulting in a vehicle kill or at the very least, damaged. Also some poor infantry mean is likely KIA.
Hard to know for sure it was a Shahed, but if so it would indicate they are also going to use these in a frontline attack role or backline interdiction. @Nevsky To use these drones in this role would be the most difficult, compared to attacking static infrastructure, this requires UAV recon, and Shahed coordination to be able to direct strikes on targets that can move at any time. I think this level of use requires alot more training time, and skill that wasn't ready to be deploy before because the Russian operators simply have not had much time to play around with these tools. But overtime they will become more experienced and skilled and use of direct frontline attack will grow.
So looks like, not only these drones, but alot of UCAVs would be sent and also missiles,You mean the part where the U.S. supposedly lied about Iran will give Russia drones?
