what the need for these reports Iran said the drone was sold to Russia but before the warDIA Report on Iranian UAVs in Ukraine - USNI News
The following is the Feb. 14, 2023, Defense Intelligence Agency report, Iranian UAVs in Ukraine: A Visual Comparison. From the report This product provides a visual comparison of UAVs used by Russian forces in Ukraine and Iranian UAVs used to attack U.S. and partner interests in the Middle East...news.usni.org
Some Russians are still claiming that Geran 2 is 100% domestically produced and not Iranian. Not many claim this but some still do.what the need for these reports Iran said the drone was sold to Russia but before the war
The fact that a fully intact Mohajer-6 with its munition was lost. Some Russians are still claiming that Geran 2 is 100% domestically produced and not Iranian. Not many claim this but some still do.
Only the fuel of one "night hunt" must be more expensive than ten drones.
Like Syria like Ukraine. I am not surprised.I have a feeling that according to the "ukrainan general staff" the IRGC troops will soon fight somewhere around the region of Kharkov or Slavyansk.
whats wrong if they were sold by Iran after the war started? Stupid western double standard on Iran has to get destroyed in Ukraine also.what the need for these reports Iran said the drone was sold to Russia but before the war
Nothing but that will be against Iran announced and practiced policy that its against any change of borders by any sort of means of force or warfare and its support for bilateral discussion.whats wrong if they were sold by Iran after the war started? Spicy if true.I have a feeling that according to the "ukrainan general staff" the IRGC troops will soon fight somewhere around the region of Kharkov or Slavyansk.
Shaheed drone can also be updated to be used as a long range survaillance drone along the frontlines instead of kamikaze option as well in my opinion. Since it flies low the infrared camera would not need to be so advanced and can be a short range camera. It can be recovered with a parachute after it returns. It can transmit target data back real time like enemy artillery positions-groupings etc. for further attacks with rockets&counter artillery. In absence of high number of spy satellites a number of these can be used to obtain especially frontline data.
But Change of Border by who? Iran is adaptable and flexible, ex is working with Taliban and even Hamas, Iran initially never liked those groups or worked militarily and intricately with them, buuuut after some time and adapting to times, Iran worked fine with them, even till today- Iran most likely doesnt see Ukraine war as a "change of border" situation primarily (vs seeing Azerbaijan bullying Armenia by trying to control the Zangezur corridor), but as a theatre to "oppose US and NATO" - its just too good a strategic opportunity for Iran to suck US and NATO out, because Iran likes to drain NATO anywhere it is actively involved military in the region...so from Afghanistan, to Iraq, now to Ukraine, but NATO wont make it out this trap alive this time- NATO and neonazist US behavior will die in Ukraine, i'm so fukn dissapointed in Biden, US will enter crisis very soon.Nothing but that will be against Iran announced and practiced policy that its against any change of borders by any sort of means of force or warfare and its support for bilateral discussion.
And what telecommunications infrastructure would use to send the data? Iranian constellation of sats?
You need high bandwidth to send such kind of data.
No need for a constellation since it flies along parallel to the frontline sending low resolution smaller data with cheaper infrared camera. It can even fly autonomous by gps or ins and send data back hopping different stations along the frontlines with 40 -80km radius. It wont fly deep inside enemy territory. For example it can detect hot signatures like M777 or krab type of howitzers or incoming tank positions. Lancet can finish the job after detection. Noise is an issue but after detection a coordinated Lancet attack would leave less time for opposing forces to leave. For noise problem instead of diesel only engine hybrid electric engine can be developed for temporary low altitude flights over protected areas. And what telecommunications infrastructure would use to send the data?
