Shahbaz Sharif to Make Surprise Visits to Markets

After noticing the high prices of edibles in the market, Punjab’s Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, has decided to take action.

It was reported from Lahore that Shahbaz Sharif has asked the concerned officials to give these markets a surprise visits so that the rates for edibles such as fruits and vegetables can be kept under strict observation.

Pakistan is considered to be an agricultural country and despite having a high yield for fruits and vegetables throughout the year, it was reported that the prices for vegetables were extremely high during the past few weeks. Tomatoes were being sold for as high as 200PKR while other useful vegetables such as potatoes, ginger, onion, and garlic were being sold for over 100PKR per kilogram.

This situation came under the spotlight a few days ago and Punjab’s Chief Minister has decided to take action against the people who are trying to create a monopoly in the vegetable industry. He stated that such activities take place in the morning and that is exactly when his team is going to be present in the “Sabzi” bazaars.

He claimed that he will try his best in order to bring the prices to what they originally were and the culprits will be identified and sent home.

their politics is personality centric. He does not understand that effective price control mechanisms exists and they used to exist in Pakistan too under bureaucrtatic magistrate structure or under local governments.

Bureaucracy, our politicians destroyed starting with Bhutto. Local government, they dont want to give as its wrests control out of their hand.

Looking at Shehbaz Sharif, he likes to rule like a maharaja with full control rather than devolving authority. If he devolves authority and stops picky about bureaucracy, he will help build institutions. But then who am I to advise or criticize?

So far koi tameez daar PM ya president aya? Seriously each was busy saving his a55 or his bank account not 1 pushed for a better Pakistan! This is PURE MONARCHY only the rule aint handed over to the son DIRECTLY, it is passed to some daughter of PPP then back to PMLN then back to some son in law of PPP then back to PMLN and so on so forth!

Each looting as much as possible....Seriously, if they were charged with the bill (to be taken from THEIR assets) they would be begging on the streets with no clothes!!

I wish someone would hear my voice of accounting the PM and presidents of Pakistan (before they sit in the chair) and ANY LOSS be credited to THEIR bank accounts...It should be the leaders bank account = to the state account...then I wanna see which a55hole will run for election!! THAT will thin comb out any potential money suckers!


Why should we pay for their 40 cabinet visit to USA and YET get drone attacks? or a Helicopter visit to GOD knows where? Khud bhi kharcha kero kameeno!!!
