Mir Jaffer was rewarded handsomely for his treachery and died a prosperous man and his progeny did well for themselves, his great great grandson rose to the office of Presidency in Pakistan. I'm afraid there aren't any tales of caution in our history for these contemporary traitors to deter them from doing the deed. They all get away with it.
