Watch again what happens when SMQ crosses the border over to the Indian side and is greeted by Indians, and then see how a soldier from PakArmy INTERVENED and grabbed him back. It clearly shows that it is PakArmy that is messing up with our democratic politicians ever since 1947!

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, while visiting the Wagah Border between India and Pakistan on Thursday, accidentally stepped across the boundary line and into Indian territory.

According to Express News, Qureshi stepped forward to greet Indian citizens and BSF troops on the other side of the border and accidentally crossed the marked line.

However, Pakistan Rangers informed Qureshi and he moved back. Soon after, the PTI leader joked, “I stepped into India” as someone in the backdrop added, “Without a visa.”

Crossing the border line and stepping into territory normally results in the trespasser’s arrest.

The PTI vice chairman was visiting the border to condemn the suicide blast at the site that killed 61 people on November 2.

It's not as if Mr. Qureshi was in some danger that he needed to be quickly grabbed and pulled back. But good to see he carried it in his own stride.

What did you expect? PakArmy or Establishment has been twisting our politicians free arms since at least 1970.

Actually, every institution struggles for greater power. It is an unstoppable phenomenon, but is a constructive force if directed well. I tend to think that the government of Pakistan, under which all institutions come and which is commanded by public representatives (Politicians), too shares the blame for not keeping the Army in check.
