BD will get 2 more Type-056 corvettes this year.

Middle of next year, the first of 6 frigates(4,000+ tonnes) will start construction.

Hint: this is way overkill for the Barmans.

I saw several articles (even the revered John Pike blog) that mentioned that Myanmar equipped the Kyan-Sit-Thar and Sin-Phyu-Shin frigates with 4 x C-602 (YJ-62) SSMs. This is not believable because C-602(YJ-62) SSMs in China are only used in 052c destroyer classes. Wikipedia finally has correct information that these are C-802's, which is what I believe is the actual case.
