Biggest news event with the most news personnel since 9/11. All streets in the vicinity are cordon off. Traffics are standing still and all the streets are full curious people.

The shooter(53), with a 45, was a recent fired employee of Shanghai Tianjin Import Export Co., a shoe company based in Shanghai and has an office in the Empire State Building. The dead civilian is believed to be a male coworker and after the shooter shot him he began shooting at other bystanders. Two foot patrols were flagged by a witness and rushed in and shot the perpetrator dead.

Mayer Bloomberg: Some of the 8 injured bystanders could've shot by the police. The shooter was a 53 year old Chinese who worked for Haldan Import, based in 10 West 33 Street, for 6 years and was fired about one year ago. The dead coworker is 41 years old.

Police Commissioner: The perpetrator turned his gun to the police when they arrived and in turn he was shot dead. The 8 victims are not life threatening.
