Parliament members demand execution of security portocols

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 18: National Assembly members are drawing the line for the government, demanding for a comprehensive and transparent implementation of security protocols as tension in the region is rising at an alarming rate.

MP Riyadh Al-Adsani believes the government will be subjected to a “stream of interpellations” due to its complacency in addressing crucial matters such as national security and financial reforms. He affirmed the Assembly will not falter in fulfilling its constitutional obligation to supervise the executive authority and to hold ministers accountable for shortcomings taking into consideration the discernable flow of failure, the latest of which is the breach of Kuwaiti air space.

He asserted the recent sighting of a drone over sensitive locations necessitates a governmental statement disclosing results of investigations and measures taken in a transparent manner, as well as security efforts to ensure such incident does not recur.

On the other hand, MP Shu’aib Al- Muwaizri wonders what the government will do if a missile hits a Kuwaiti oil field; hinting that the concerned ministers seem to disregard the severity of recent developments and will only take action once an untoward incident occurs.

He revealed several missiles flew over Kuwaiti air space targeting sensitive Saudi landmarks despite the GCC agreement to intercept any threat to member countries. He criticized the government for its failure to monitor the country’s borders, “as we have been infringed upon multiple times in the past two years.” He asked about the billions of Kuwaiti dinars spent on defense and security in the last few years.

Furthermore, Chairman of parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee MP Abdulkareem Al-Kandari urged the government to intensify efforts in maintaining national security, internal stability and border integrity. He noted that international news agencies and political analyses indicate rising tension in the region; hence, the need for the government to be transparent, inform the general public about the current situation of the country and curb the spread of rumors.

He said recent news on an unidentified drone breaching Kuwaiti air space contradicts what the government disclosed to the legislature regarding security protocols during a special session in the last legislative round. He called on all ministers to prioritize protection of national security and sovereignty, stressing the need to implement all the security protocols presented to the Assembly.

Moreover, former MP Nasser Al- Duwaila asserted that although the attack on Aramco Saudi Arabia is unfortunate, the GCC and the US should be cautious as impulsive courses of action will leave GCC countries with “zero barrels and production.”

Iran knows they won't respond directly, so they are getting bolder day by day.

Iran is a coward country.
Why hide behind Houthi? Fight Saudia directly

lol
You people really let go logic when it comes to your favorites among Arabs or Iranians, don't you?

Why would Iranis, in all their senses will go and hit Saudi through anyone for any reason, when they are already facing a threat of an impending war? Or do you believe they are dumb enough to be seeking bombardment from the USofA and her allies?

Perhaps if you can put your brain to use for a bit, you might discover that its only the US and her masters in Tel Aviv who are in a hurry to get the Iranis blown up and to weaken the Arab states in the process to pave a way for the little Israel to grow fatter?

Or perhaps you forget the leaked documents from ages ago about the list of countries the US was planning on invading from Iraq onwards, and how they would create false flags as a pretext to initiate stuff?

Grow some brains guys please and stop being so easily mislead and fooled.

Iran knows they won't respond directly, so they are getting bolder day by day.

So where was all sophistication of equipment, which US and others sold to Kuwait in/after the gulf war?
Did US sold scrap and made billions? OR As @fitpOsitive said the missiles fired from Israel. Then definitely have the right of way.

And when he was asked why all of USA mighty USA system couldn't even detect the attack , he said :" all systems were directed to Yemen "

IMO, US wanted to make more billions so they are planning to ignite something big in ME of which the beneficiaries will both US/Israel. KSA should do analysis of the situation themselves rather just listening to US.

This one attack have put many in odd situation. USAs systems seems of no use. Iran bacame defensive, Saudias economy is shaking, Russia is laughing, and Israel silently handling her internal chaos.
I mean, such moves are only taken by Zionists. Such an elegant move.

You will find answers in here: https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zo...aftermath-of-the-saudi-oil-facilities-attacks

At least, think before you type something. You think cutting-edge/advanced defensive systems are deployed everywhere and/or have unlimited range? :disagree:
