I want to educate and train my people, OBC SC ST, to bring down the businesses which fund political parties, replace them with our own. I want to destroy that system and have not intention to participate.

The well funded political rallies and parties are only required by minority upper caste to fool the majority OBC SC ST during elections. Aim is Business and political parties of, for and by OBC SC ST,... Modi, BJP RSS, Congress, Adani, Ambani etc naturally don't want to be replaced and so are in the way.

At least 20 police have been wounded in an attack carried out by Hefazat-e-Islam’s activists at the Aruail police camp in the remote haor area of Sarail upazila in Brahmanbaria.

The attack took place at around 3:30 pm on Saturday. Inspector (Investigation) of Sarail police station Kabir Hossain is among the injured police.

According to the police and locals, several thousand madrasa students accompanied by locals brought out a rally at Aruail bazaar at 2:00pm led by Maulana Abu Taher, Hossain Ahmed, Mahmudur Rashed and Oliullah protesting a two-day long visit of Indian prime minister Narendra Modi to Bangladesh.

When the demonstrators tried to enter the Aruail police camp at 3:30pm, then police obstructed them. In retaliation, they hurled brick bats at the policemen and left 20 injured on the spot.

Police fired tear gas shells and rubber bullets to disperse the protesters.

Meanwhile, a group of people attacked the police station in Bhanga of Faridpur on Saturday afternoon. Six policemen were injured in the attack. The main gate of the police station and two police motorcycles were vandalised at the time.

Police later fired 45 shots to bring the situation under control. Security measures have been beefed up at Bhanga by deploying BGB and RAB along with police.

Eyewitness said around 200 to 300 people brought out a rally from Jamia Islamia Qasemul Uloom Eidgah Madrasa near Bhanga police station after Zohr prayer at around 2.00pm on Saturday.

From that protest, they carried out the attack on the police station and left six police personnel injured.

Whatever the underlying rights of wrongs there may be for inviting Modi, clearly, if people have died protesting, then this bittch is out of touch with the will of her own people.

Bangladesh violence spreads after Modi visit, attacks on Hindu temples, train
Reuters

MARCH 28, 20215:34 AMUPDATED 8 HOURS AGO

COX’S BAZAR, March 28 (Reuters) - Hundreds of members of a hardline Islamist group attacked Hindu temples and a train in eastern Bangladesh on Sunday, police and a local journalist said, as violence spread across the country in the wake of a visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

At least 10 protesters were killed in clashes with police during demonstrations organised by Islamist groups against the Indian leader’s visit, and violence raged on after his departure as anger swelled over the deaths.

Modi arrived in Dhaka on Friday to mark the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh’s nationhood, and he left on Saturday after gifting Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina some 1.2 million COVID-19 vaccine shots.

The Islamist groups accuse Modi of discriminating against minority Muslims in Hindu-majority India and violence escalated rapidly during his visit.

On Friday, dozens of people were injured in the densely-populated capital Dhaka as police fired tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters. Thousands of Islamist activists marched down the streets of Chittagong and Dhaka on Saturday in protest.

On Sunday, activists with the Hefazat-e-Islam group attacked a train in the eastern district of Brahmanbaria, resulting in ten people being injured.

“They attacked the train and damaged its engine room and almost all the coaches,” one police official told Reuters, declining to be named as he was not authorised to speak to the media.

“Brahmanbaria is burning. Various government offices were set on fire indiscriminately. Even the press club was attacked and many injured, including the press club president. We are in extreme fear and feeling really helpless,” Javed Rahim, a journalist in the Brahmanbaria town, told Reuters by phone.

Several Hindu temples in the town were also attacked, he said.

Islamist activists allegedly also set alight two buses in the western district of Rajshahi on Sunday, while hundreds of protesters clashed with police in Narayanganj, pelting them with stones, police said.

Protesters used timber and sand bags to block roads, as police retaliated with rubber bullets and tear gas, leaving dozens injured in Narayanganj, just outside the capital, Dhaka.

The protests sparked by Modi’s visit have since flared into wider demonstrations against police killings, and the Hefazat-e-Islam enforced a nationwide strike on Sunday.

“Police opened fire on our peaceful supporters,” Hefazat-e-Islam’s organising secretary Azizul Haque told a rally in Chittagong on Saturday. “We will not let the blood of our brothers go in vain.” (Reporting by Ruma Paul; Editing by Zeba Siddiqui and Simon Cameron-Moore)

I think so too. As a Pakistani I would love to see Mamta Bannerjee as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. It would be so much better for Pakistan Bangladesh relations.

Sometime back Pew did a poll in Bangladesh if they would accept Jyoti Basu as their Prime Minister . It was a multiple choice poll with several local politicians and Jyoti Basu as an outlier candidate. Jyoti Basu got 90% of the vote.

So yes, kick Mamta over to Bangladesh and rest assured she will kick Haseena out .

That will make the day for Pakistan!
We would be more than happy to send both of them to Bangladesh, moreover if the great didi takes her nephew along with her, the show would be pretty entertaining.
BTW, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya is far more competent than Jyoti Bose as an administrator and visionary.

Please send them to Bangladesh. There will be people waiting with garlands at Benapole or Metrapole.
Meanwhile Bangladesh will send Haseena to take up a cabinet position in Modi's cabinet. I am sure her Pandara Park New Delhi residence is well maintained.

6 people, including policemen, were injured during the confrontation

Two Hefazat-e-Islam activists sustained gunshot wounds in Mymensingh on Sunday when they clashed with police during the group’s daylong nationwide strike.

One of the individuals was identified as Alam Miah, 23. The identity of the other person could not be ascertained.

A total of six people, including policemen, were injured during the clash that broke out around 10am on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (Mymensingh Sadar Circle) Alauddin said: “Some hartal supporters blocked the highway in the morning. They hurled bricks at policemen when they [police] went to the spot.”

Police fired tear gas shells to disperse the protesters, he added.

“I am not aware of any demonstrators being shot, but a couple of policemen got injured during the clash,” said the ASP.

SI Shafikul Islam of the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital police outpost said of the two persons who were shot, one was receiving medical attention at that hospital, while the other had been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for better treatment.

Members of Hefazat-e-Islam took positions at various corners of the city and additional police forces have been deployed to keep the situation in check
