Setback for PML-N as MNA from Gujranwala leaves party to join PTI

It is routine matter. Whenever a guy gets signals that he will not get ticket in next election. He leaves the party on the base of "high moral" ground which were forgotten since 2013.
I think this whole party system is now obsolete. At one point it may have made sense but nowadays it should be disbanded. Instead the ppl need to get more involved. Any person running for any position should have his agenda/manshoor/plan(regarding the local issues)/etc on his/her website. Each candidate be allowed to upload a video(ad) about himself/herself and his/her platform on a website like YouTube(or some other similar website). The rule should be the same(like all candidates upload video to that same designated website)...the video must not be longer than a certain time limit...and only one video/ad per candidate.

While running for a certain office as a candidate, they should not be allowed to upload additional videos/ads to other websites...they must not be allowed to put up banners/posters/other forms of advertisements...and they should not be allowed ads on TV. The poster/banner/etc ban will help keeping the walls/building/streets clean. Additionally it would level the playing field for the most part between the different financial standings of candidates in terms of advertisements.

ppl should choose based on the platform/plan of the candidate...and not re-elect if they have already tried someone and were unhappy with his/her performance. This end to party system would end the "lota baazi" and would diminish(to an extent) the sway that currently senior party members hold over their other members(by giving them a ticket...or not giving them a ticket to run for a certain position, etc). Instead the qualification(ticket) to run for a position must be obtained from the government(some agency similar to NADRA) by meeting certain criteria.

The criteria must be to declare ur assets(which can be randomly checked...at any time even after one is elected). Income tax filing record of the last 5 years and proof of residency(of at least 5 years) in the district/city/province(depending on the position) for which the candidate is running. This agency must also check if the candidate holds other nationalities and perform a background check for any criminal records. The authenticity of their degrees must be verified to make sure no fake diplomas are used. Last but not least, the candidate must get signature of 500(or some other appropriate amount) ppl from his/her district/city/province(depending on the office he/she is running for). Once these requirements are met, one should be allowed to run for a certain office.

These are just a few of my imaginary ways with which I try to perfect the broken system...in my imagination.
