It will probably be thrown out of court and the Officer will face some repercussions from his own force.
Don't you think that would be unfair?

IAF has reasons to stick to it and not go for LCA. One of them, as have been mentioned, quick reaction time. Lets not get into Mig vs LCA. If at all, it is ministry's fault for not increasing procurement speed.
My source is some interview of a officer, posted here in PDF. Tejas was supposed to take the role of interdiction. But the engine, as we all know, proved to be insufficient. I don't know the status of new engine, but even that was ordered quite late. What has IAF to do with this impractical and sluggish approach of HAL/ADA?
IAF should have just gotten more mirages or Su-30's no fighter jet is made to fly 50+ years wtf was your air force development staff doing smoking ganja?

Everytime they come up with an upgrade, IAF steeps the requirements up to unprecedented levels.
They want an F-16, and F-22, an F-35, a Su-30MKI and a Fulcrum all combined in one for that price.

So what are they planning now. As I am looking to see MiG-21s being scrapped up ASAP.
Will going to see old Jaguars from France or Mirage-2000s/MiG-29s from Russia....
All the Asians see Indian MiG-21s as flying coffins.
You & your expectation
Who told you this kind of BS
Jaguar is a ground attack aircraft which we have 108 in numbers & there are no plan to buy second hand aircrafts.
But if the IAF had decided to scrap all of the MiG-21s then Jaguars and Mirage-2000s are the only options. OK
But let us know if you have any other options in place.... as LCA will take longer time.

How is a ground attack fighter with nil air to air capability going to replace an interdicter?
