Absolute disappointment.
Kabali is the first Rajnikant movie I've watched in a cinema hall, coincidentally my 1st tamil movie too.
I went to check if it survives the hype.
Ofcourse the initial cheering and clapping kept the ambience electrical for sometime, but even his hardcore fans didnt find much to cheer in the 2nd half.
Radhika Apte looked very south Indian and did a good job.
Just an average movie which was released with much hype.

Well, I will call it as a Director's Movie rather than the typical Rajani style movie.
Cinematography is very good and excellent costume work as there are many old time scenes .
Over expectation kills the fun . Same like when a popular book becomes a movie and we fails to mach it with the images in our mind.

Given the lack of response of Pakistanis on this thread I think its fair to say he has a very small if any fan base in Pakistan. I personally had not of heard of him till recently (BBC article on how offices are apparently giving staff leave on the debut day of his movie in India :/?)

why they like him so much? what is so special about him? neither good personality nor good acting..well in fact its overacting in most movies and too old for such roles.. I am sure there will be much much better actors in south Indian film industry ..whats the name of that south indian actor appeared in ovie tenu wed mannu and this guy in bahubali
