We’ve finally moved away from the colonial era collective punishment laws of the Tribal areas. The family should not be punished for the actions of the individual.

In general, most of these people who join militant/terrorist Group’s as foot soldiers are from poor/lower class backgrounds anyway and have very few assets to begin with. Making their families destitute by taking away what few assets they might have is not going to help with fighting radicalism & extremism.

So when u say family don't know they know and if they don't inform the authorities that take action before its too late then they are equally responsible for the evil actions. Truth of the matter is that Iranian clerics have created such an atmosphere that they can turn any shia into a live bomb in any corner of the world. Iran has been recruiting foot soldiers from every nook and corner of the world since the takeover of Khomenai...Pakistan knows that very well but in every government there are some pro Iranians figures at such a high posts that nothing comes out in the daylight on such matters.
There was a times when Iranian IRGC used to take active part in Parachinar and Hangu during Shia-Sunni conflicts.

Shia are more belief-oriented and eschatology-oriented than the others on average.

Iranian Ayatollah is a Holy Figure to Shia at large (around the world). His surmons/calls are likely to sway minds of Shia in any country including in Pakistan. This is a matter of grave concern because Iranian Regime have created multiple Shiite militias in different countries to advance its controversial goals in the Middle East.

There might be many Pakistani Shia who do not care about Iranian Ayatollah but Pakistani establishment must keep an eye on Iranian efforts to infiltrate and exploit Pakistani nationals for its ends. This is not good for Pakistan in the long-term otherwise. WE cannot afford another TTP type chapter in Pakistan.

If you believe that the Ayatollah would incite or advocate Shia militancy in Pakistan like TTP, then my friend, you'd have seen Shia youth blowing up in malls, attacking Military bases and killing Security personnel in the country for the retaliation when the STATE was busy aiding Sipah e Sahab, Jaish e Mohammad against Shias. But unlike others, we are disciplined in the belief systems which does not let us go fight like rats. So you really need to learn more on this. Has it not been the taqlid system in Shias, you'd have seen Sipah Muhammad (Shia) attacking the Security Establishments rather than Sipah Sahaba militants. Show me a single case where Sipah Muhammad harmed the state or carried out any massacre like SSP LeJ did? But what I see is that SSP carried out such acts but their leaders enjoy Police protocols, seats in the senate. So do not preach justice unless you practice.

That's what am wondering. Police alleged that these men were killing since 2007 but hell yeah they caught em now for being in Zeinabiyoun. I wonder if my forum mates would have same views for the dudes who joined the Afghan Taliban and fought the Americans

Join the army and work for outside forces?, torture own people, hand over DR Afiya, Allow drones for dollars to kill own people?.

Agree, the amount of attacks, assassinations were alarming but nothing was done about it. The same people also attacked sunnis in Pakistan through assassination, bombs but nothing was done. Those in power knew exactly what was happening but were too cowards to take action just incase their masters in the gulf get upset.

No one is TLP, TTP, and so on but one thing we are that is Iranic people, no we don’t care what Iran thinks of us or for that matter anyone else, but we support those who we share pretty much everything with.

how some Pakistanis show love and support for Khalistan and their brethren for whom they open corridors for, we don’t complain so if we do the same for our brethren, what’s the problem?.
