Senior Chinese official emphasizes partnership with Vietnam

Looks like China economy and military pressure is working on Vietnam.. Unless US can pledge USD 20 billion aids to Vietnam per year. Vietnam is in no way to sustain that kind of military and economy pressure from China. Vietnam is smart to realise US is just making use of them. Co operation with China is the best interest of Vietnam. China indeed is the big brother to Vietnam

Actually I welcome a closer ties between China and Vietnam, as long as the relationship is fair and big China does not try to dominate the smaller party. It looks as if the Vietnamese leadership has launched a series of initiatives to get closer to China.

America will never give USD 20 billion aids to Vietnam. Maybe US$ 20ml.

(VOV) - Vietnamese ambassador Nguyen Van Tho is visiting China’s Guangdong province on May 13-14 to strengthen cooperation between Vietnamese localities and Guangdong.

He was received by Hu Chunhua, Secretary of the Guangdong Party Committee on May 13.

Tho and Hu expressed pleasure at the growing ties in politics, economics, trade, science-technology and education between Vietnam and Guangdong over the years.

Two-way trade reached US$8.7 billion in 2012, and increased 50 percent in the first quarter of 2013 to nearly US$3 billion.

Precisely, China will always be your neighbour . This is a fact that will never change in probably another 300 years time. China is always willing to co- share resources with her neighbour and make them prosperous.. Co operating with China will be the best solution... Do not be like the useless Philippine. They learn nothing and is digging a grave for themselves for playing with fire with PRC and ROC.

Nobody in Vietnam seeks confrontation with China. Sure, there were good and bad times between the two parties. Vietnamese are not resentful, we seldom look back, the future is the only thing that matters more.

Surely of course, the SCS dispute is a major headache, finding a solution may take a long time.
