Since this has become a political issue with significant repercussion for PTI and IK, the best get out of jail card, ideally, would be for Atif Mian to declare himself that he is Qadiyani and his allegiance lies with Pakistan and he is the firm believer in the constitution of Pakistan and its deliberations (which by default declare him disbeliever). This will blunt all the opposition as he will be advising PTI government as a minority.

Otherwise, replace him promptly. There are many who can fill in the position. Whatever needs to be done, should be done quickly. As for PTI they needs to do their deliberations and background checks properly in future.

Let me tell all of you who are Qadiyanis or their silent supporters. You are a small minority in Pakistan. The average Pakistani doesn't buy your secular narrative and certainly doesn't borrow any bullcrap when you try to accomodate Qadiyanis religiously. Your whole narrative is crisp with flimsy roots. There's no way Qadiyanis are going to accepted here and embraced with open arms. People are highly sensitive about this issue. Your best chance is to accept the disbelif of Qadiyanis and then perhaps grant them special rights so that they might be able to exist here without friction.

Marzayis are already declared Non Muskims now they have as much right as other Non Muslims your rants wint be entertained by the sitting government

Someone rightly pointed out that this wont be an issue if there was a Hindu or Christian Pakistani nominated for this position.

Government should contact Atif Main and tell him that listen mate, this is a once in a life time opportunity for you and your CV, come forward and declare yourself qadyani and your submission to the constitution of Pakistan. This is the only way this issue can be resolved. Otherwise, move on to next candidate.
