Pakistani opposition parties are passing the resolution in the favor of corrupt judges in the Senate, which in the past had stormed the Supreme Court of Pakistan to attack the judges including the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Likes of Shahbaz Butt had been caught calling Justice Qayyum and giving him instructions on behalf of Nawaz Butt to make tailor made decisions according to their wisehs. But they still escaped any punishment in Pakistan.
We who reside in the West know very well anyone caught interfering with the administration of justice would be charged immediately and sent to the jail for a long jail term. These Butts are immune from prosecution despite committing all kind of crimes, looting, corruption, killing innocent people, killings in fake encounters with the police, etc.
When they realise that corrupt judges are now going to get their just dues, they are passing resolution in favor of those corrupt judges.
Them passing resolution makes sense, the same corrupt judges provides these criminals reliefs in the cases against them.
The adage, "you scratch my back I scratch yours" come to mind.
