Self sufficiency ??? It's anything but self sufficiency. And no we are not even close to being self sufficient.

. . . . .
Self Sufficiency??!!! Indigenous!!????

Suggest you ease out on those hallucinogens you take every evening!

.
Congrats Pak Army.

Is PA still open to acquiring used T-80s & T-54/55s from its operators with the latest upgrades to boost the fleet?

.
self sufficient in what? cant even protect our soldiers and paramilitary personals in hot areas.
Where are MRAPs, where are drones?

.
These upgraded tanks will provide much needed capabilities to defeat Pakistan's adversaries and the AK2 should be more formidable in the near future. The issues for Pakistan is how many numbers can it produce annually so that it does not need to buy newer tanks to consolidate what it already has.

If would be great if these can replace all the T-59 type tanks and other similar tanks. Not sure why HIT is unable to produce greater numbers every year?

.
HIT production max is 50 per year and that production capacity not $$$$ availability high is major problem each ak is still in couple of millions vs western in ten of million per tank
