Seen & Unseen military images of Indian subcontinent of the past

Nairs were the only Indians to single handedly defeat an European power with no foreign help. They defeated the Dutch so badly, they never came back to Kerala. They were very disciplined, don't believe the foreign BS. As for marital races LOL....If you believe this garbage and cannot decipher the reasoning for these categories, then good luck to you.
David Omissi is considered an authority of british military history..

U are free to research about british recruitment and disbandment of nair regiments.

And which so called defeat of the Dutch do u speak off?

Battle of Colachel? a small skirmish with dutch trading company?

Dutch occupied south india for over couple hundred years... they dominated south india by mid-late 16th century... their presence in S.I, lasted from 1605 AD to 1825 AD.

Dominated? What a trading post that asked for permission LOL.

The dutch never came back did they? Not worth the trouble when they could pursue more money with less hardship.

I did much research, the Muslims, Rajputs, Gurkhas, etc...were very servile and obedient to their white masters. The South for the most part was not. Indian history to his day in the British records is highly one sided, subjected to erroneous myths and lies.

Im talkin about his origin... and ironic to see u takin pride in Sultan Tipu...

There is no pride for Tipu...I could give a f-k. Oh so you think because he is muslim, Indian wouldn't like him LOL. I personally don't like a ruler that forces you to convert. If the religion was so great, nobody should be forced, should they?

You just revealed how clueless you are.

You really think British ruled India without any revolts? Totally clueless..

British could never truly take over and colonize China because their ppl never worked with the European powers against China. Chin had sufficient time to establish a cultural identity free of any religion. There was no interference from any foreign power for 100's of years.

India on the other hand was fragmented and fighting a 700yr Jihad that was not successful.

Corgis and Nairs were pretty damn good fighters. The only issue is that once the Europeans were able to establish dominance and crushed every little known resistance. Then subjected the ppl to tremendous hardships to break their back over the course of 200 yrs very systematically, the fighting nature died out amongst these ppl who eventually settled into farming.

Same reason why the Northwest was powder keg, the British failed to establish dominance. The land was worthless. the only reason they even stepped in and got involved, was to curb Russian influenece.

Where do u come up with this nonsense from..

Definitely not from where you picked up your bullshit. Typical pakistani mentality. You're gullible enough to believe this hogwash racial martial theory. Then use that as pretense to prove what exactly? Completely clueless about your own damn history.....

YOU stated British ruled India with no revolts? LOL full of BS. The biggest reason why armed struggled died out slowly, was due to the shortage in ammunition supply plus geography.

Nairs and Coorgs beat the shit out of Tipu so many times. For us, the British was the better of 2 evils. Engaged with foreign muslims, we saw how they treated the locals. Cant be much different what we see today in Syria and Iraq, how ISIS treats the women and children as sex slaves, killing husbands, converting, etc.

Pazhassi Raja was engaged in guerilla warfare and its where General Wellesley lost his first and only battle. Its from this experience, where he learned and used guerrilla warfare against Napoleon.

Take a good look at all these pic of your brothers....they look just like everybody else. Dirty , dark and brown. Don't kid yourself. These are all Northies LOL...

A defeated power who remained in Dutch india from 16 - mid 1800s... and later got replaced by more "defeated british " for another 2 centuries..

Muslims is not a race.. And south india remained under dutch and brits for hundreds of years...

ur likes makes that abundantly clear here on pdf and so does ur govt.... and tipus employed many hindu generals... and was a patron of hindu temples of his state.

Sure buddy no Hindu ever picked up arms against the British lol.. Only the muslims did LOL...happy with these "facts"

Muslims are not a race? I never said so. There is hug difference between the attitudes of malabar muslims and the ones that invaded. They are nothing alike.

Your timeline on the Dutch is false and fake.

Typical pakistani's making up BS.

Tips did what was best for his kingdom. Tips wasn't the only muslims king to use Hindu generals. There were many and many of them turned a blind eye for self preservation.

I think its too complex for you to understand due to your inherent bias you have. That's why its difficult for you to grasp and comprehend. Better to live under the British than under muslims kings at the time. That's a fact kiddo. The choice was to the death, flight with the muslims kings against the British or fight the Muslims and side with the British. Its an easy decision for me.

Do you even know why the nails gave up fighting? You're fighting an enemy with guns and cannons. If your weapons supply is dwindling, how long can you last with with swords an arrows, which they did use for sometime?

Look at the state of the South today, and look at your present day state of affairs? Speaks volumes....

He was appointed Risaldar-Major of his regiment in 1884 and was made Aide-de-Camp to the Viceroy in 1895.

Here he is depicted in uniform with the badge of the Order of British India.
