ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Asad Umar said on Wednesday that talks are continuing with the International Monetary Fund and Pakistan is seeking aid from the friendly countries for the last time.

While addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, the finance minister said that the government is working on long-term and short-term strategy.

Umar said that Pakistan and China gave space to a third country to participate in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor plan.

He said that the CPEC is important for the region and the third partner can participate in investment.

The minister said that in April a trade framework contract will be made with Turkey and it will promote trade with Iran and Europe.

Earlier this week, Asad Umar said that the country is not solely relying on the International Monetary Fund for economic relief as it has also made alternative system. The minister said that the IMF has not placed any non-financial condition and it is just an option to revive the economy.

He is a great visionary. I believe him. Soon CPEC will bring massive revenues for Pakistan and all the debt will be payed in no time and soon Pakistan will start offering debts to friendly countries.

I have no reason to not to believe this guy, he is a visionary and should be given his due time to turn around the economy.

We know what you are trying to do, but your post, at least in its literal interpretation, is correct. The obvious sarcasm is something else though.

If you go for the literal interpretation, then there is no sarcasm. And if you take my comment as a sarcasm, then you lack belief in the system and people you have voted for. So what is it?

I have provided link to support my comment, very soon Pakistan under the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan will offer loan to other countries.

I obviously meant the sarcastic undertone is not something to be taken seriously, even though thats the intent of the post.

That's right, soon India, US, Canada, EU will be taking loans from Pakistan.

I don’t see why not, if Pakistan can offer loan at a lower interest rate than China or IMF, everyone will be flocking to its door.
