Update from the 1st hideout (Nasirpur) -
CTTC unit Deputy Commissioner Moinul Islam says that 7-8 dead bodies have been found in the Nasirpur hideout. He says it is difficult to ascertain the exact number of dead as many of the bodies have been torn to pieces.
He spoke to the media and said - the bodies had been blown to pieces and were spread out in 2-3 rooms. There were women and children in the house.
Authorities tried repeatedly to get the children to be let out - the male and female adults were beyond reasoning...but, these evil bastards didn't even spare their own kids.
All inside died last night and the damage to the bodies indicates - they blew themselves up rather than get caught alive.
A mini drone was brought in from Dhaka to recce the premises for grenades and IED's - the authorities spent the best part of today letting the bomb disposal unit deal with them.
He also said SWAT will most likely take down the 2nd hideout (Borohat) in the early hours (local time)
