Security forces gun down LeT commander Shaukat Ahmed

Srinagar: In major breakthrough to the security forces in the valley, Lashkar-e-Taiba's (LeT) dreaded terrorist and top-commander Shaukat Ahmed was shot dead after a 24-hour long fierce gun-battle in Kulgam.

According to security forces, Shaukat was wanted in many cases, including the attack in on army camp in July this year.

Acting on the tip-off, a joint team of local police, army and CRPF launched a joint search operation in Kujjan village, 75 kilometers from Srinagar on Tuesday morning.

When asked to surrender, the militant opened fire on the security forces. Shaukat was shot dead in the retaliatory fire.

Security forces have also recovered some arms and ammunition from his possession.

In SL whole north was capture by LTTE and in case of pakistan also almost same condition applied. In kashmir they are very few and are hiding. Secutiry forces has to search them or may be "Acting on the tip-off". We thanks local kashmiri also for their support.

Shall i tell you what the real problem is ? Our govt doesnt dare to do that . They are scared from international pressure and most importantly Kashmir votes . Local Kashmirs are slowly absorbing the fact that , they have no other option but to live with India , into their minds . Still there are many people who support Kashmiri Terrorism .

BERHAMPUR (ODISHA): Five Maoists were killed in a
fierce encounter with security forces in a forest on the border of Odisha's Ganjam and Gajapati districts on Wednesday.
At least two security personnel were also injured in the exchange of fire in Bhaliagada jungle under Mohana police station area, police said.
"We have received information about the death of five Maoists during an exchange of fire in the jungle. The bodies are yet to be recovered as the operation is still on," DIG of police (southern range) R K Sharma said.
The slain ultras belonged to a group headed by
Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda, he said.
Panda, who was recently expelled from the CPI
(Maoist), had formed the Odisha Maobadi Party.
Although Panda was present in the camp during the operation jointly conducted by the Special
Operation Group and District Voluntary Forces, his whereabouts were not known immediately, the DIG said.
Superintendent of police (Gajapati) C S Meena said
the operation was launched in the jungle after specific information about movement of Maoists.
Meena is coordinating the operation with superintendent of police (Ganjam) Ashish Singh.

not belated though....they killed the terrorist yesterday......but they again celebrated by killing 5 of the maoists in odisha....and recently I think 2 days back they had killed some 4 maoists in chhatisgarh........that was the start of diwali.......keep it coming jawans..!!
