Balochistan border is prime area for smuggling this stuff into the interior of the country. FATA waghaira say sirf local hi jata hai...since there is heavy Army presence in those areas and you can't get explosives there that easily. The surface fighting goes on there. But the smuggling is further South.

Poorly marked border, no proper guidelines, flimsy policies, bad combination.

you are right, material is coming from that side, if its in such huge quantity, infact I was a bit surprised that how come no one raised any question that why the hell someone is buying so much material.
There were reports of material bought from Punjab in small quantities, but looks like we have a bigger fish to catch here.

But we can definitely say that this was a gigantic effort by ALOT of intel and security agencies which averted this HUGE disaster. DI Khan jailbreak and Kamra and GHQ and Mehran were tiny in front of this.
