Second Russian warplane violates Turkish airspace as tensions escalate

Do you even know what you are talking about bro?o_O As usual you are trying to say its the E.U and U.S who have been forcing Turkey to back the rebels against Assad all along. Typical Muslim middle eastern mentality always putting the blame on the west and not themselves for their own actions. lol

For your information, Turkey has been one of Assad's fiercest opponent/critic and the main backer/supporter of the rebels fighting Assad. Left for Turkey alone, Assad should have been toppled long ago. Turkey has been pleading with the U.S/U.K/E.U to intervene and topple Assad for years now, though the U.S/UK/E.U have been reluctant to intervene militarily/launch a full scale invasion of Syria due to our own public opposition to any wars in the region. So its funny to see someone trying to pass the blame on NATO for forcing Turkey to act the way it has been doing/backing the rebels. Turkey has its own interests and policies, it has nothing to do with the 'evil' U.S/E.U. So suggest you look for another excuse to justify your 'brother' Turkey's action in Syria. lol

Truth is Turkey is obviously not happy about Russia's intervention and even more so Russian fighters continuous violation of its airspace. However, there is nothing much Turkey can do apart from scrambling its own fighters to intercept and escort Russian war planes away from its territory like most countries do. So no big deal really.:bounce:

I like how you vomited out a wall of text without paying much attention to the context of my statement. At first I took some time to find a suitable abuse for you but then I thought its not like throwing it on your face will fix you since I have been dealing with like minded morons for a long time.

Anyways, Bro, find me the line where I disagreed with your Assad, rebel rant. My point regarding NATO was only limited to the reactions of airspace violations. The news brief after first violation which both agreed was a mistake had a friendly protest from turkey, protesting yet stressing the good relations both turkey and russia enjoy, showing smiling faces on cameras. And in many separate briefs NATO personnel taking an aggressive stance.

I found it a tad funny that the target country took it much easier than NATO. Never mentioned Assad, rebels, and which of them loves which, or who wants to topple what.

Only if you actually read before flipping the fck out and spewing an essay emphasizing your state of stupor, you could probably have avoided this humiliation. But this is the internet where all dumb fcks come thinking they actually have sensible things to utter.

P.S. I also like how you use the Muslim middle eastern card showing the bigotry flowing in your veins esp on a topic I didnt even mention. How can you be sure I am not a hindu, christian, buddhist, or atheist?

.
How many times turkey/NATO will scramble their jets to intercept the Russian aircraft? Tomorrow one more news will come, Russia violates turkish airspace for the third time and turkey scrambled jets... Common NATO...NATO..NATO..NATO..

WHO TOLD YOU THAT?

By that measure India should be the second biggest power in the world. same with North Korea, which should be among the the top 4 biggest powers in the world. China should also be the world mightiest power dwarfing the U.S by far.

Lol ok , then please tell me 2nd biggest power in NATO and you misunderstood when I said manpower and numbers , since he was talking about Nuclear Deterrence , while I was referring to actual forces.

. .
outside of USA , Turkey is the 2nd biggest power in NATO
if they are not gonna support one of their biggest powers , then what is the point of the union
The point is to protect the interests of the western judeo christian civilization.

No , the point is to protect US interests in Europe
Greece and Turkey are pretty much the only NATO countries in Europe that still have a formidable force.

We remember the b/w and low res images last year telling us that Russia has invaded the Ukraine?

It seems Russia is willing to sacrifice Russian lives for another Muslim state called Syria. How does that work? Is Russia a Muslim state?

The way Russia plays its realpolitik is different from how West plays it. The rulers of Russia do not really care if millions of Russians have to die for their goals in realpolitik. The Russian history gives plenty of examples in this regard.

I do not think this is the case for Danish, British, German or Americans. At some level they have to consider their public sentiments since after all this is what democracy is all about. The public sentiment of these countries is not favorable to dying in a nuclear war for Erdogan's Turkey.

Funny indeed!

What happens next?

That is for you to find out. Meanwhile we get the popcorn.

Turkiye should work out a deal with Russia and both should diffuse tensions. Perhaps it can be resolved by agreeing that Russia and TuAF should both conduct strikes on Daish and also PKK/Peshmerga hideouts. I would imagine under no circumstance Turkiye wants their air space intruded; that's only natural and should be expected and respected

I dont think NATO - as an organization - is serious about combating Daish..... Nor are the Arabs for that matter. This cancer must be stopped

Nope, which is why Turkey is b/w a rock and a hard place. I do hope these mini teases die down though. I like both russia and turkey.

Turkiye is in a tough position no doubt about that. They'll weather through the storm though. Main priority should be against Daish and al Nusra

Bro, first of all, there is not going to be any clash between Turkey and Russia. Both of them are too smart to let that happen. If Turkey tries to take a Russian plane out, even in Turkish air space, then its going to get impossible for Turkey to continue its air assaults on any target in Syria. Russia would see to it that nothing gets through. No one wants to see this outcome.

2nd, I have severe doubts on NATO providing any sort of protection to Turkey if shit gets real. Sure, they'll help against weak states like Syria like they did by providing patriot missile batteries but Germany would not provide patriot batteries for potential use against Russia in this situation. If NATO deploys patriot to deter Russian airspace violations, then they have the option to deploy S-400s to completely halt the entire NATO air operation in Syria. There is no winning in a Russia-NATO fight. That's why NATO & Russia avoid direct conflict with each other.

So Russia will keep violating Turkish airspace and keep harassing Turkish F-16s. Their planes will gladly be escorted out of Turkish airspace if Turkey can manage that. Its a game for them through which they learn your response times, tactics, radar coverage, gaps in air defence, pilot skills etc. They do this routinely even to the US mainland. NATO knows this so it will keep protesting. This is how it will continue. There is no need to take it very seriously.

But if shit really hits the fan, which is impossible btw, but still, rest assured that militarily Turkey will be on its own. No western country is going to get into a fight with Russia for Turkey. The thing to understand is that Turkey is Muslim country and the west has no love lost for Muslims. Erdogan also needs to be taught a lesson because he is not under their thumb. A battered and bruised turkey, dependent on the US largesse is the way they want to see it. In fact, internally, they'll welcome a complete decimation of Turkish air force & infrastructure if it comes to that because that way they'll sell more and more equipment & give huge loans to make turkey as dependent on them as possible. Dollars galore.

And Greece as well. No one is going to protect Greece in a fight. Its a drain on the world economy these days. Everyone will be be relieved.

lol, why you have to bring China every time in a totally irrelevant thread?

Did you really get butthurt so much in the Chinese defence section?

In my opinion, France and UK are tied for that second spot within NATO, but still, without the US, you guys are still nothing in front of Russia.

Just read the post of Mike. His borderline arrogance and insanity is very much the exemplary brainwashed sheeple we have in the US dominated part of the world.

Because he has previously spent too much time to debate with the Chinese members that has literally driven him insane.

No wonder he is so butthurt now and cannot talk without China.

Lol i was merely giving an example, reason o also mentionef north korea and India since they all have large standing armies/manpower/personnel. So i just took the countries that have the largest standing armies to show the funny Turkish member that what he was saying is bullshit. Numbers mean little in todays technological/electronic/smart warfare age.:D

That's definitely a quick improvement. I guess they can finally show Russia where the moderate FSA groups are located, as well. Or, maybe, FSA is simply in the wild imagination of Western terrorist-lovers.

As for airspace violation: Turkey should get used to it because they have been violating Syrian airspace for years now. Remember how Syrian air defence shoot down a Turkish jet last year or the year before?

***

Reminder: US Has Been Blatantly Violating Syria Airspace for Over a Year

But is up in arms over a Russian plane in Turkish airspace.

With all the fuss about a Russian plane which briefly strayed into Turkey due to bad weather it may be a good time for a reminder that US has been illegally violationing Syria airspace for over a year, and that's in the course of conducting equally illegal military operations against targets on Syria soil. You tell us which is the bigger violation of state sovereigny here?

Indeed here is a graphic that mainstream media wants you to see today:

They're selling a story where what's remarkable about the situation in the air over Syria is how close the Russians (yellow) are flying to the Americans (green). But if you look closely you'll see there's a huge illegal US presence in the air on the Syria side of the Syria-Turkish border (white line).
