Skies I don't know current rents of apartments in Canada as I've moved for long time in a House, but its roughly minimum rent $800/$850.00 CAD for 1 bedroom/lounge Apt, less then what Govt pays as start up social income for few months cuz one of my friends was getting it but now he got employed. So I wouldn't suggest Canada if I were in U.A.E I would have tired for any Job and once employed search for the field.

Honestly my mother wants to move to Gulf and I searched a few sites but never applied yet, if you are good in computer have some proven skills lots of I.T companies there paying as much as 3000 dirhams or even more depending on your qualifications and experience. I hope you get a dream Job or something that satisfies you and you can raise your Kids well.

a) Eat a good break fast, Pray , and read Quran in morning.
b) Wake up early in morning , very early , and apply for jobs in early morning before offices open
c) Make sure your phone line is open

You already have education , so you are better then 80% of people in your city.

Now , the problem is Time - as you stated you have 6 months. Great most people in US live pay cheque to pay cheque so you are better off.

But what you need to do is approach this as a military operation be organized and attack the first job fair you here about. Try to visit any open job fairs and talk to Human Resource Manager and Dress to kill

Present yourself well in suit and positive attitude.

In order to reduce your stress levels, you can also consider a part time job to give you 7 months instead of 6 months etc

PS proof read your resume , any typo and error typo, reflect badly on your profile specially if its a corporation in Dubai , and the Human Resource Manager is a European (they are pretty picky on their typo checks)

Also - don't wait for someone to call you be Active and Seek out your future Job

Network in your city - Community Events - and meet people you never know if you might run into the right person at the right time

Invest in 1-2 Interview Suits - high calibre
