The drone is named as Burraq whereas the laser guided missile it carries named as BarqI think its name is barq or burraq heard in last year parade
i was there yesterday and indeed WG CDR Yasir did some serious stuff and frankly speaking F16 aerobatics were nothing as comapred to JFT..though if WG CDR Azman Khalil was flying the viper instead of WG CDR Asif then maybe it would have been a different case...A friend who was at today's full dress rehearsals gave the following feed back on the airdisplay,
@MastanKhan @Oscar @Taimoor Khan @HRK @The Eagle @gambit
''This years JF and Falcon displays are different and more entertaining (spitting out of flares is more often) and the pilots have taken greater initiative in freedom of their manoeuvres. The JF display was even more nerve-wrecking as the chap flew at 100-150ft which was simply madness. Even the men in blue sitting next to me were like WTH is he doing. The crowd was thrilled. The most nail-biting was the way he manoeuvred in for the high-alpha slow-speed pass. While the F-16 went behind the cables to run in slow the JF dude simply applied the air breaks, pulled 20+ degrees up and while the air brakes were applied JF pitched up he turned the JF's nose around all while staying right above the parade ground. It was literally floating in the air and even the officials seeing were left flabbergasted. I sure hope he gets permission from high ups to repeat the same on the final day!''
Cameras never show the real angle..i mean jo real me dekhne ka maza hota wo camera me bilkul ni pta lgtaOne thing I can say that freedom of maneuvers was visible even in one of the earlier videos of Falcon. I think you shared that in this thread. I agree with your contact in general and can't say more. Moral boosts the confidence and the same will be visible on particular day especially, while friends are participating as well. Hoping for best cameras that it shouldn't be missed.

ISPR should come up with their stuff instead of relying on PTV's thakkar cameras of 70s era.

Yes indeed, i have raised the issue with ISPR/DMA regarding this and someone close to them also disclosed this that it's not entirely their own choice.....once again just to give you an idea, check the quality of the footage used in this otherwise a very basic number.Actually, ISPR footage is kept for future documentaries and presentations and unfortunately, PTV is in no mood to change the equipment. @Windjammer

Impossible, PTV is running under pathetic management.Let private TV channels shoot those videos under the supervision of PTV.
well under the jet noise i took it as Asif..u'll know tomorrowAre you sure it was W/C Asif as i thought the commentator mention W/C Asim Raja, who performed last year.
