That's what I'm basically saying, people here are entirely blaming the army for refusal to do anything or incompetency.

An ops by military or FC can be outlined. It’s not rocket science. Even members here can sort out the potential military m formations and assets which can undertake the ops.

It’s the post ops strategy that matters. Resurgence of insurgency is linked to what happened after the military operations were completed.

The army can only ever succeed in internal insurgencies if it has the support of the people.

Valid point.No DHA in swat so far, so no involvement by Army.

There was talk of building a cantt in Swat in 2018, maybe the plan was scrapped or delayed. Anyways, Army would protect its Cantts at least and if a DHA or Askari housing is built then Swat would become a fortress.

Pull out the SSG and smoke these scum. PK should be ttp free, and the army should make sure it always stays that way

So many people did not come out caz they had a change of ideology....they came out caz they had a change of economy... Post ops ...new motorway and roads means alot more tourists year around even in winter especially since murree guys are not behaving and access to swat has become alot more easier...and they know what resurgence will do to that tourism boost they are experiencing...
