Pak Fauj is engaging the militants in all forms of combat and is not at all averse to close quarters combat wherein we have given these terrorists a run...their claims of invincibility are shattered and the self proclaimed Mujahideen are running with their tails between their legs after offering stiff resistance.
This is all to demoralize the Army when it is doing its job with great professionalism, for a change i am happy that Gen. Kayani has turned things around so much that the ordinary officer and soldier is fully aware of the threat and also willing to do everything whilst taking such nonsense for granted.
Once again at a time when the intent of Fauj is crystal clear and it is going all out against the TTP we have ex ISI retired Col popping up from the ground and telling us about how they trained Taliban and how invisible they are...The same colonel is supposedly saying that we are just fighting tribals and not terrorists...another attempt to make us lose focus on our own survival?
Pak Army trained Mujahideen not Taliban.
Taliban were not a mere creation of Army but instead one should read the role played by the advisors of BB at that time and the situation in Afghanistan and the rapid advance made by Taliban in the masses...Taliban was an Afghan centric movement as a direct consequence of the desperation during the post Jihad civil war era...
Having said all this, i am glad that finally Army has a good, competent commander who has made major gains in changing the perception of the soldiers and has made them feel honourable Pakistanis again.
At this point in time we just need to support the operations as a nation and the media should offer more encouragement of such operations...
