KARACHI: President Asif Zardari’s departure to Dubai is expected in the situation when the Supreme Court ordered arrest of Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf, SAMAA reports on Tuesday.

According to the Airport Security Force (ASF) sources, the president’s plane at the Masroor Base has been asked to get ready as he may fly to Dubai anytime.

Earlier, SC issued orders to arrest Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf in a case regarding corruption in rental power projects.

The apex court hearing the rental power case, directed arrest of all people responsible for corruption including the Prime Minister Ashraf.

During previous hearing, the apex court sought clarification from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) over non arrest of those who removed Asghar Khan, investigation officer probing the Rental Power case.

In last hearing, a three-member SC bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry ordered the NAB chairman to present a comprehensive report after determining those responsible for removing the officer from the probe.

He is not declared criminal...... He is not convicted yet....he is just accused.... and will be arrested for investigation....

Farooq h naik minister for law, is saying that chairman has the sole authority to issue order to arrest, so unless he does that, pm won't be arrested, cj only mentioned in order that carry the investigation and arrest the accused.... they way this is going.....expect pti on streets in few days
