It is hardly surprising that Hindu so called 'Nationalists' will conveniently ignore this report (and the one that again came up in Bartaman today) and will continue their Bengali bashing propaganda for cheap political gains; could not stop laughing when someone in the previous pages prescribed BJP and another one ' North Indian Gunda culture' to awaken the Bengalis.

I wish they suffer a little more and get some brains so that they get a BJP government next time.
Gist of the matter is under a clever veil of religious outrage face currency and illegal drug dealers planned this attack on Kaliachak police station. The main objective of the entire attack was to destroy documents and threaten a few police officers who had been instrumental for the last few years for successfully curbing fake currency rackets and drug dealings. According to report, in 2014, 80 people were arrested and fake currency worth Rs.15 Million had been recovered. In 2015, the numbers are 150 and almost 30 Million respectively.Would any one of the forum members be good enough to translate or if not translate at least provide us with a gist of what's written ?
Thanx in advance.
P.S. - I was referring to the letter posted by the user LaBong

Not only that, frequent raids on illegal opium firming by NCB caused grave anger on the local administration by the mentors in Bangladesh who were increasing pressure on their local handlers to take action. So, a blueprint was made by some Saddam Sheikh (a Bangladeshi from Zaminpore) to gather people from adjoining districts and from the other side of the border as well to devise an assault on BSF and the Police. As per NIA and IB, it was anything but spontaneous religious outrage; on the contrary a cleverly planned program by drug mafias and fake currency racketeers to destroy evidence and intimidate the administration.
Yes. Indian Afghanistan.Opium farming? what are we talking about... Afghanistan?

That I agree. Politics in West Bengal has gone into gutters. Petty criminals, Intellectual faced robbers have taken over control for everything here. But certainly that does not by any chance mean that rest of India is doing any better.Thanx for the effort bro.But this only re inforces what the rest of India think about politics in WB .Be it under CPM or TC , lumpen elements associated with the former have now joined the latter with the TC providing them political cover as the CPM earlier.
Further, I've always wondered why Muslim religious organizations arecso easily led.A few years back , at the azaad maidan in Mumbai , nearly 1 - 1.5 lakh Muslim talibs & tanzeems gathered , where permission was granted to around a quarter of that no, to protest the treatment to the Rohingyas by Myanmar.
A series of inflammatory speeches later the mob charged the police bandobust, molesting women officers, assaulting male officers & other innocent bystanders & office goers ( the area is a commercial business district plus repository of key state & central govt offices incl courts ) destroying police & public vehicles, vandalising & looting property & as a grand finale destroying the etetnal flame honouring the martyrs of tge freedom struggle & Samyukta Maharsahtra movement at Hutatma Chowk ( formerly Flora Fountain )

As far as, the later part of your post is concerned Muslims in India have remained just as their SC/ST/OBC counterparts as prisoner of vote bank politics with criminally lack of education (both basics and technical), healthcare and jobs. Twenty years of honest governance and then perhaps we could have seen a dramatic socio-economic difference in rural levels.
Hardly surprising in this poor country. During Advani's Rathyatra in the 90's the entire world had seen how quickly people can be summoned to cause riots and bloodbaths.Bengal's ride from "religion is opium for the masses" to "opium for the religious masses".
Whatever might be the reasons behind this attack on the police station but one can't overlook the fact that how easy it is for people from a certain religion to summon lakhs of people on short notice to cause a riot.
But , with all due respect , there are other marginalised groups too.You mentioned 2 of them .when was the last time you saw SC's & ST's marching forth , holding dharnas in huge nos . rioting ? I'm not referring to one off cases here.
it's time that we wipe out the radicals.
superiority of the state over religion needs to be established.
