Democracy in the Middle East is Israel's worst nightmare.

Right now Israel can act like a barbarian state and get away with it because public reaction in the region is muted by iron-fisted dictators who are beholden to Western interests. If, however, there is democracy, the people will demand their governments to exert diplomatic pressure on the West to curb their regional bad-boy.

No more $2 billion/year to Mubarak to look the other way while Israel massacres Palestinians.

As for the Saudi tantrum, they haven't got half the brains to play the major powers against each other. They will crawl back to the US camp eventually.

Egypt doesn't have oil. American support for Mubarak was purely to serve Israeli interests, not directly American.
He was paid $2 billion/year to play nice with Israel.
