Calling Iron-Dome with a different name doesn't make it American. Raytheon is the biggest sole source subsystem/technology provider for Israeli missile projects so You can see some "Israeli" missiles presented by USA institutes When they wished. It is very similar to LockheedMartin presenting Turkish cruise missile (under a deal signed years ago) called Som-J for F-35 costumers.

Iron Dome is cheap and combat proven rocket vs. artillery rockets (Grad, Uragan, Smerch, Fajr-3 and Fajr-5...). PAC-3 costs $3 mln + for each missile. S-400 is also very expensive and was never proven beside Russia propaganda (last night Israel again attacked bases in Damascus despite S-400).

They might be interested in Trophy system. Which is the only operational APS today and showed 100% effectiveness in combat. Recently Americans decided to equip entire Abrams brigade with Trophy system:

No worries. Iran saved Assad Regime from falling in such a way by Khawarij and US. So it knows how to protect itself very well. But strategically if there is a Regime change in Iran (which is never possible since IRGC is there). Turkey and Pakistan are next.

You are saying that Raytheon is the technology provider.. it just happen that they are making an improved version of their own technology.. and If KSA buys the system it will be from the original tech provider a.k.a Raytheon.. I don't see any complications in this..but Buying the Iron Dome from Usrael is not credible..at least since this improved version is available from the US..

Who is talking about the Patriot.. Saudi Arabia has a lot of it and will still get more..I pointed out the the SKY HUNTER system made by Raytheon..which is an improved version of the Iron Dome..and its availability from the US..
There are many choices for APS today.. be it from Europe, Ukraine, Russia or China..to name a few..KSA might buy an equivalent to the Usraeli Trophy system if it is provided and made in the US.. or most likely from another country who will provide Tot..
