If they try to take Taiz which is a former capital of North Yemen they'll be in trouble. Taiz is no Aden. The only ones in Taiz are Shias. There are no Sunnis in Taiz. It's a long way from Aden to Taiz. They be easily ambushed.

Shias is 55% of Yemen's population, 40% Zaidi, 15% other Shia, however the distribution is not uniform. Shias are all in North Yemen. Sunnis are all in South Yemen.
no they are 35-40 %

Zaidi is 40%. Jafari which is majority in Sanaa is 15%. Shia is majority 55%.

foreign policy 2015 lists Zaidi at 40% in Yemen.

You can see on the map below Sanaa is majority Jafari, Najran is majority Ismaili. Southwestern Saudi Arabia and North Yemen are majority Zaidi.

Like the member of the RSLF Paratroopers and Special Forces seen here during Exercise 'Red Alligator 4' in November 2014, the foreign soldiers spotted in Aden carried AK-103 rifles. Source: Saudi Press Agency
Saudi Arabia's Al-Watan newspaper cited unidentified sources on 17 July as saying that Saudi special forces soldiers had arrived in Aden to guard officials from Yemen's internationally recognised government who had arrived in the city after a series of victories by pro-government forces.

It said the unit consisted of 50 men, including officers, and had accompanied Yemeni officials who returned to their country from exile in Riyadh.

The report was corroborated by photographs that emerged on social media showing well-equipped foreign soldiers escorting Yemeni dignitaries around Aden. The soldiers carried AK-103 assault rifles, a Kalashnikov type used by the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) Paratroopers and Special Forces.

A Saudi source told IHS Jane's that the soldiers are from the RSLF's 64th Airborne Brigade.

The presence of United Arab Emirates (UAE) soldiers inside Yemen seems also to have been confirmed. According to the official news agency, WAM, the country's General Command of the Armed Forces announced on 16 July that Lieutenant Abdulaziz Sarhan Saleh al-Kaabi had been killed while participating in Operation 'Restoring Hope', the name for the Saudi-led military intervention against Yemen's Ansar Allah group.

The death of a second soldier participating in 'Restoring Hope', Saif Yusuf Ahmed al-Falasi, an NCO of unspecified rank, was announced on 21 July.

While no further details on either fatality were provided, WAM also reported the minister of transport in Yemen's exiled government as saying that the UAE had deployed a specialist team to Aden to re-open the port city's airport.

Aden International Airport was captured by forces fighting against Ansar Allah on behalf of the internationally recognised government on 14 July in an operation that involved newly arrived Oshkosh M-ATVs, a type of armoured vehicle that is used by both Emirati and Saudi special forces and has not previously been seen in Yemen.

While these vehicles are in service with both RSLF and UAE special forces, the ones seen in Yemen were operated by men in civilian clothes.

Saudi, UAE forces deployed to Yemen - IHS Jane's 360

Why are you so excited Zarvan???...How does as a nation, Pakistan gets beniftted with this war???I think being a responsible Muslim nation, you should rather oppose sort of war in your neighrhood....You seriously needs to relook at your priorities of your nation...Of course..i can clearly see that your view is not alligned with many of the other senior Pakistan posters here..which is a good sign..

Guys..with a huge population in South Asia, we as a nations, should oppose any sort of war or violence in our region...We lost a decade to other Asian nations due to our own histroy of fighting with each other..At least we should strive for changing it for our next generation...

These are all special forces. They are not numerous and like Russian special forces in Ukraine, if they get captured they get disowned by their country. Ya Mohammed! Ya Ali! Ya Islam!

Taiz the former capital of Shia North Yemen is a highland. Saudis would be crazy to try capture Taiz. Even Southern Yemenis want nothing to do with North Yemen. Southern Yemenis only want to have their independent South Yemen like before 1990 in 1990 Communism collapsed and North Yemen conquered South Yemen.

You should blame the Persians who want to live in empire and rule the Arabs who they're 10 times stronger than Persians. lol:omghaha:

10 times stronger ma :p: Arabs are not united. Don't forget, the world's oldest civilization Iraq is a Shia Arab power allied with Iran. Plus, North Yemen is the second biggest Shia Arab power. Most Arabs were once Phoenicians, Aramaics, Akkadians, Eblaites who converted to Arabs following the Arab Islam conquest

.
There is no Hezbollah in Yemen you takfiri idiot

Then where did Houthis get Kornets? I saw in one vid Houthis fired Kornet at Saudi tank. Hezbollah must have a secret land route to North Yemen.

Arabs are not stronger they just believe they are strong

Beside who gives a shit or want to rule bunch of barbarians??

Believe me the average Iranian don't know anything about you.you are the one who is obsessed and your saudi dogs that's why you made so much threads on your shitty arab defense forum because your obsession with iran

Why I am reported???
I just responsed to that saudi

Keep profanity out s'il vous plait. :enjoy:

This is a clearly Kornet used by Houthis against Saudi tanks. Must have been supplied by Sadr's Mahdi Army or by Hezbollah through a land route to North Yemen. Yemeni army did not have Kornets before so this must have been supplied recently.

If Arabs are the way they are, they should be ruled by someone else. They need a lesson in history not in decadence the Arab is indulged in.

Arabs are not united, but they've common views when it comes to national security and I'm sure that you know what happened when the mess -created by Iran- started in Yemen.:p:

1 day or 1 attack against an Arabic country is more than enough to see what happened to Iran's allies in Yemen happening again somewhere else. (I'm talking about the real Arabs whether they're Sunnis,Shias,Christians,Ebadies...etc who they care about their homes and people, not Mullah slaves, they even gifted their a$$es to Iran)

Iraq is not all Shias and it was the strongest Arabic country under the rule of the Sunni government (Saddam Hussain), but now they're like chickens under Iran leadership.........:disagree:

Iran+N.Yemen+IQ
(you can add Assad regime to them )

What a strong power. Congrats

Here you've just proved that you're sick. You're talking about more than 2000 years ago even before the existence of Islam .

Yes we're from different races and even the most powerful nations on this planet are the same, but that doesn't mean we have no common views.

pfffft the US manhandled Saddam in like 2 weeks

Iraq is not all Shias

Iraq is 70% Shia. Saudi Arabia is 75% Sunni. Israel is 75% Jewish. Bahrain is 80% Shia. Syria is 14% Shia. The US is 60% non Hispanic white. What's your point?

Nothing will change, but I agree that the world population exceeded 7 billion and it's need to be limited to ~1 billion. Today or tomorrow is our turn and next will be your turn .

pffft not even 0.1% of the world's land is inhabited. Go on a plane and as soon as you leave the city after a minute or so of flight you see nothing but wilderness. The world is severely underpopulated.
