A British court has heard allegations that a Saudi prince beat his servant to death in what the prosecution team allege was a frenzied *** attack.

Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud, 34, is accused of murdering Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz on February 15, after allegedly abusing him for months. The victim is an orphan who was adopted by a wealthy family in Saudi Arabia. He travelled with the prince over the past three years.

The trial, which opened at the London criminal court on Tuesday, has shown a CCTV video of the prince assaulting Abdulaziz in a hotel lift, about three weeks before he was found dead.

The prosecution said the 32-year-old victim's submissive behaviour during the attack is evidence that he was used to abuse and had been subjected to an ongoing campaign of violence.

"It is a nasty assault with the victim suffering a whole series of blows being struck with both fists and elbows," Jonathan Laidlaw, the prosecutor, said.

"What is also evident from the victim's behaviour is that he had become by this point almost entirely submissive."

He added that bloodstains found on the pillow and in the hotel room were "consistent with the victim having been the subject of a series of separate assaults before he was killed."

'Sexual connotation'

Abdulaziz was found dead on a bed at London's Landmark Hotel with bite marks on his cheeks, and injuries to his face, back, neck and abdomen.

An autopsy also found evidence of strangulation.

Laidlaw said the bite marks had "an obvious sexual connotation", but al Saud has insisted that the pair were friends. The prince maintained that he is heterosexual.

The prosecutor said al Saud was "concealing of the sexual aspect to his abuse" for "altogether more sinister reasons and it tends to suggest that there was a sexual element to the circumstances of the killing."

Al Saud, who has denied murder but accepted manslaughter, told police that the pair drank at the hotel bar until the early hours of the morning on February 15 before returning to the room.

He said when he woke in the afternoon he could not wake the victim.

The trial is due to resume later on Wednesday.

I think the law will take it due course as these incidents are highlighted and sensitive in UK.

But there is a chance for truce if its a high profile member .. after all money will talk..

This raised up my eyebrows when I read it earlier in the newspaper today. Understandably, I find certain loopholes within the story and it is rather confusing apart from being upsetting. As the trial continues perhaps we will come to learn more about the turn of events.

Yup.. witness trails ... we all know how it will end up.. Also CCTV footages only shows him beat him lift.. so there are plenty of loopholes..

I think they will go forensic to prove the bite marks which is mentioned in the news.

Would be an interesting case .. most likely to get political and become a political drama for sure.

"No means no Prince" the House of Saud wont leverage anything in this trial, an openly gay prince would definitely discredit the family's name. Another thing give him in life sentences its about time this murdering Fvck gets to see what really goes on in the common world. Just don't drop the Soap Prince LOL..

hope the brits send this this sick f**k in a hole for the rest of his life

I hope if it is proved that he did it to be executed . . Al-Saud tribe, is very large about 160 000 population, thats Double the population of Bermuda . . in such big tribe there is the good and there is the bad

I somehow doubt justice will be delivered. Some backroom deal may take place depending on how close the "Prince" is to the King.

Nishan, I must say that this is a very large figure indeed. I am curious as to what is the source of it though. When I went on pilgrimage to Holy Mecca, I befriended a Saudi pilgrim in the hotel where I was staying and had some brief conversations with him. When I asked, he told me that there were about 3,000 known princesses and some 2,500 known princes, that is, these are those who would ordinarily be in line for succession. The family he said as a whole ran into the tens of thousands. No doubt, the family is indeed much larger than that as it is commonly known to be the largest royal family in the world but I didn't expect a figure greater than a hundred thousand!

diplomatic immunity..anyone heard about it??? Saudi Kingdom is the personal household of Al-Saud and all of their future seed!

that figure (160000) refers to 1990, today i think they are more than that, there are alot of arab tribes with hundreds of thousands population, in jordan for example there is Bani Hasan tribe, its population is more than half million, another arab tribes are its population exceed one or two millions like Bani Tamim that deployed in iraq saudi arabia jordan syria and most gulf states

Saudi Arabia is a major Arms buyer for UK so the price will most likely be released on the bases of diplomatic immunity or security issue.Like Tony Blair cancelled inquiry into arms deal.
