BS, no. They get beaten up ONLY when they cross certain lines. In Muslim majority areas, beef is very popular. Even the police (largely non Muslim) don't dare to go there. In Mumbra, Mumbai, Hyderabad etc - cows are killed and hung from hooks in broad daylight. No Hindu/Sikh dares to touch them. Only the weak infirm Muslims travelling with cows in the hinterland with non Muslim majority face issues.

Riyadh: Saudi police arrested an Indian immigrant who allegedly disrespected Islams holy Kaaba site on Facebook, covering it with an image of Buddha, a local report said Monday.

"The region's investigative department were able to capture and arrest a suspect, in his forties and who works in agriculture, who insulted our holy site," said a Riyadh police spokesman cited by the Al-Arabiya TV network.

"He superimposed a picture of the Buddha on the Kaaba and posted on social media," Al-Arabiya quoted the spokesman as adding.

Police were able to identify and arrest the unnamed Indian at a farm in Al Majmaah city in the province of Riyadh, he said.

The Kaaba, an ancient monument at the centre of the Al-Masjid al-Haram mosque in Mecca, is Islam's most sacred place.

RIYADH – Saudi authorities arrested an Indian immigrant for allegedly disrespecting the Holy Kaaba by superimposing an image over that of the holy site’s on Facebook.

According to details, Saudi authorities detained anIndian national who allegedly placed an image over that of the Holy Kaaba and uploaded it on social media.

A Riyadh police spokesperson spoke to a TV channel and said,”The region’s investigative department was able to capture and arrest a suspect, in his forties and who works in agriculture, who insulted our holy site,” he said.

“He superimposed a picture on the Kaaba and posted on social media,” he confirmed.

Police were able to track down the person behind the post from a farm at Al Majmaah city in the province of Riyadh.

The Holy Kaaba is the most sacred mosque for more than one billion Muslims across the globe, who face in its direction while praying to Allah five times a day.

The Holy Kaaba has been one of the holiest places for Muslims and millions of Muslims flock to Makkah to perform the annual Hajj pilgrimage. One of the obligatory acts of the Hajj is to circumambulate the Holy Kaaba seven times, known as tawaaf.
