I would take this with a bucket of salt. This post pulwama incident is making Pakistanis behave like Indians I.e they kill a crow and it is Surgical Strike 2.0, killed 30,000 jihadis and India has become a super power 3.0.

Let's be realistic, arabs love western goods and I dont see that changing anytime soon especially as they have the $$$$
More than 20 Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates as well as Pakistan,Nigeria who bought China Rainbow 3(CH-3), Rainbow 4(CH-4), Wing Loong 1 and Wing Loong 2 do not agree with you.

Damn impressive to test fly an aircraft with no prior experience of flying the actual jet. Similarly, years ago Mickey Abbas test flew the F-20 Tigershark.

Well, the aircraft is made for flying straight after simulator training, so for a seasoned pilot it should be easy. There is something special about the aircraft as well :smitten:

A photo appeared on foreign social media recently showing photos of Pakistani JF-17(China code FC-1)fighters being tested in Saudi Arabia by Saudi F-15 fighter pilots.

According to Pakistan’s International News, General Saudi Arabia’s Royal Air Force Commander General Mohamed bin Katebi appeared in the official residence of Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Pakistan, Abdullah Zalani, at the end of last month, telling reporters that Saudi Arabia is The study asked Pakistan to order a large number of JF-17(China code FC-1) fighters and "Super Marshall" trainers. The Pakistan Air Force Chief of Staff, General Sohail Oman, was also present.
Correction: ACM Mujahid Anwar Khan is the current head of PAF.

Makes me doubt the content of the article...

In respect of Front line fighter jets...unless maybe as a replacement for the old tornados?

This is different though. There are American export restrictions on drones whereas there is none for Chinese drones.

JF-17 with A2A refueling may just work for Saudi.
IMO, it fits perfect countries like Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, Jordan,

.
Let's just stick to Azerbaijan and Malaysia, hope and pray that they would buy them....

Saudia are what you call umm ' extremely brand conscious'. They would not buy I guess. But they can suggest other Arabs countries to buy them... Even it is good aircraft, saudis would go for American or Russian jets, who are standing with open arms to woo them and trick them into buying war machines.

Pakistan should focus on potential buyers such as malaysia and Azerbaijan..
Not give wings to your flights of fancy...
