Saudi King Salman makes changes to government

;)

What's wrong here guys ?

Nothing brother. Just showcasing our frustration and some discussions and the obligatory conspiracy theories or whatever we should call it.

Instead of worrying about matters that we have basically no power over we should try to improve as Muslims and human beings individually. That we can do without a problem. If most people did that the majority of the problems that our world is facing would be solved. Whether in KSA or elsewhere on the planet.

Here's hoping at least.

you are exactly right. perfectly said.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّى يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ

all what you need to do is foccous on yourself and then those closest to you. knowing that islam comes first then work hard and achieve knowledge or do whatever god made you to do.
ppl are different. and thats why allah says

لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْساً إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا

so everyone should know his deen. then everyone should prosper in his field in his own way and in life. some ppl become scientist some ppl become dr and some simply chose jihad. but whats nice in islam everyone can serve islam in his field too.
and its also important to know what the west is plotting against islam.

i just remembered something.. some ppl say why cant we be like the west. well the west have been busy killing us for 200 years. all the major scientific achievements they came up with was built for wars. ww1 and ww2 is an example.
all this technology you have on your mobile today they were already using it 20 or 30 years ago. so they progress cuz they live in peace while they suck the living soul out of us and use their military technology on us. all major technologies today without exception was first used against us. starting from the gulf war 1991 until today. the iraqi war changed wars for ever cuz a lot of the technology was used there for the first time. until this day they are cleaning the mess of 1991.
so how the hell can we be like the west when they wanna make sure we are their guinea pigs.
by the way when i say the west i dont mean their ppl. just governments

and as usual im always off topic hahaha

We will never win with technology as long as our gullible, show off, arrogant, nationalist scum populations keep tolerating our leaders and systems....

Majority of Arabs still could care less what happens in Syria or what happened in Iraq or what's happening in Palestine....

Like I always say, nationalism is very bad for us. Just right now there is facebook war between Jordanians and Syrians over the Jordanian pilot. There are photos of his wife crying, Syrians saying he shouldn't be killing Syrian children...Jordanians getting upset, then cluster f....with both sides cursing each other in worst way you can imagine. This is what nationalism does to half of our people. And we are very emotional and can't gather our senses.

1.The issue of "isolating" Muslims brought out by brother al-Haseni requires serious consideration. Firstly, who would want to do this? Obviously the WCC (Western Christian Civilization). And WCC has been targeting us ever since the Holy Prophet pbuh began spreading The Message. Zionists finding common platform immediately joined. And now you have various manifestations - Neo Cons, Freemasons, MNCs, Arm Peddlers,International Bankers, etc. But they are all united in their mission to make money by exploiting humanity everywhere. The Islamic faith is the only, yes the only , barrier to their greed and gluttony.
2. The people among whom the Holy Prophet pbuh was born and the land where he was born, must always be conscious to the fact that believers all over the world - Arakan to France, Mindano to Kashmir look to them for support/succor. AndI am talking about the people, not the rulers most of whom are agents of WCC.

Apparently 16 ministers are engineers, let's see this government of engineers and what it can do.

Clearly he knows what he is doing.

Every single competent government is ruled by mainly engineers, economists and lawyers. Out of those three the engineers bullshit the least.

Saudi Arabia’s new King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.

New Saudi king announces major government shake-up
Heads of intelligence and other key agencies replaced alongside cabinet shuffle

Saudi Arabia’s new King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud further cemented his hold on power, with a sweeping shakeup that saw two sons of the late King Abdullah fired, and the heads of intelligence and other key agencies replaced alongside a cabinet shuffle.

Top officials from the Ports Authority, the National Anti-Corruption Commission and the Islamic kingdom’s religious police were among those let go.

The new appointments came a week after Salman acceded to the throne following the death of Abdullah, aged about 90.

Salman also reached out directly to his subjects on Thursday. One of his more than 30 decrees ordered “two months’ basic salary to all Saudi government civil and military employees,” the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.

Students and pensioners got similar bonuses.

“Dear people: You deserve more and whatever I do will not be able to give you what you deserve,” the king said later on his official Twitter account.

He asked his citizens to “not forget me in your prayers”.

SPA said Salman “issued a royal order today, relieving Prince Khalid Bin Bandar Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Chief of General Intelligence, of his post.”

General Khalid Bin Ali Bin Abdullah Al Humaidan became the new intelligence chief, holding cabinet rank.

The change comes after authorities in the kingdom last year blamed suspects linked to the Daesh extremist group for shooting and wounding a Dane, and for gunning down minority Shiites.

A separate decree said Prince Bandar Bin Sultan, a nephew of Abdullah, was removed from his posts as Secretary General of the National Security Council and adviser to the king.

Prince Bandar was the kingdom’s ambassador to the United States for 22 years until 2005 before moving to Saudi Arabia’s Security Council.

Two sons of the late monarch were also fired: Prince Mishaal, governor of the Makkah region, and Prince Turki, who governed the capital Riyadh, according to the decrees broadcast on Saudi television.

Super-ministry

Another of Abdullah’s sons, Prince Miteb, retained his position as minister in charge of the National Guard, a parallel army of around 200,000 men.

Salman, 79, a half-brother of Abdullah, named a 31-member cabinet whose new faces include the ministers for culture and information, social affairs, civil service, and communications and information technology, among others.

Oil Minister Ali Al Naimi, Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal, and Finance Minister Ibrahim Al Assaf stayed in the cabinet of the world’s leading oil exporter.

A 50 per cent fall in global oil prices since last June has left Saudi Arabia projecting its first budget deficit since 2011, but government spending is set to continue.

Salman merged the ministries of higher education and education, naming Azzam Bin Mohammed Al Dakheel to head the super-ministry.

Saudi Arabia is trying to improve its basic education system and has built more universities as it seeks to diversify its oil-dependent economy.

Another decree replaced the chief of the country’s stock market regulator, ahead of a mid-year target for opening the Arab world’s largest bourse to foreign investors.

Hours after Abdullah died on January 23 Salman appointed his son, Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, as defence minister.

Powerful Interior Minister Prince Mohammad Bin Nayef became second in line to the throne, while Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin, 69, was elevated to king-in-waiting.

Muqrin would reign as the last son of the kingdom’s founder, Abdul Aziz Bin Saud, leaving Bin Nayef as the first of the “second generation,” or grandsons of Abdul Aziz.

In March 2014, King Abdullah named Muqrin to the new position of deputy crown prince with the aim of smoothing succession hurdles.

The appointment of Prince Mohammad Bin Nayef helps to solidify control by the new king’s Sudayri branch of the royal family.

Their influence had waned under King Abdullah.
