Saudi Arabia has stepped in to cool down tension between Pakistan and the United States. On the special directive of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Saudi intelligence officials dashed to Pakistan andheld wide ranging interaction with ISI Chief General Ahmad Shuja Pasha and other concerned officials.
Both the sides exchanged views on the ongoing acrimony and tension in relations between Pakistan and the United States on Haqqani network.
After the meeting ISI Chief dashed to Saudi Arabia by a special plane. He is expected to hold meetings with heads of Saudi Intelligence and armed forces.
The sources said that General Pasha proceeded to Saudi Arabia on the directive of the political and military leadership because the Kingdom is a very close ally of Pakistan and had in the past helped it come out of several crises.
Analysts said that Pakistan is taking into confidence all its friends about the evolving situation. In this connection they referred to the visit of the Chinese Vice Prime Minister to Pakistan.
They said that Saudi Arabia enjoys great influence in the US and Pakistani leadership and is likely to persuade both the countries to resolve the issue through dialogue rather than going to the extreme end.

If US want to attack Pakistan not even SA or China can do much about it. Cause if they can do any thing then they could have done when Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya etc were attacked. Forget about these countries when US attacked Pakistan with Drones, none of the Pakistan administration was having the balls to stop it.
But despite all this US wont go for a full fledged attack on Pakistan. After all Pakistan is an ally for WOT all these years and there could be strained relations but no complete break of relation. However US could pressure pakistan to crack down on Haqqani network or could get permission on attack on FATA region.

China cannot stop the US from attacking but it can surely help Pakistan to defend itself and that's what's going to happen and that's why the US has decided to cool down, not because Pakistan has been an ally for a long time.

Suppose if its true to some extent also. Dont you think that US might have not thought about it before. If US really feel threatened from China or any countries then it would have not come such a far distance from their land and have not attacked Iraq, Libya, Afgan, or drone attack in FATA region or OBL operation. They are the world players and they have proved all these years with no doubt.
Supposedly if China helps Pakistan in what sense it could help Pakistan. What kind of weapons it could supply. Can someone throw some light.
First of all all these years we have seen how US attack. It starts with raining of missiles to key region, places and people. Then Air superiority. And then the Final thrust through Mechanized force like tanks and troops. And in all this it is highly difficult for a 3rd world country to withstand against technological superior country.
And if Pakistan thinks for to go for its Nuke. US has the capability to neutralize through interceptors. And possibility Pakistan territory could suffer from a nuclear fall out.
However its all hypothetical. And there wont be any war of US Pak.
