They've done really well with everything they've purchased, IMO. Despite some of the issues they had with the PAC III SAMs, I think those were anomalies and whatever the issue was with the two or so failures, it has operated rather well.
The only thing Saudiya is lagging a bit on is obviously the navy, but that's on its way with the major acquisitions they've made in the past couple of years as well as the ToT projects they signed on to.
Of course the RSAF is an absolute beast, with the F-15s, the Typhoons and the Tornadoes. I always thought the Tornadoes were actually a fantastic choice for some of the best attack aircraft. A bit maintenance intensive with the variable geometry wings and pylons, but a beast nonetheless.
The entire military structure in all branches has come a long way since the late 90's - early 2000's.
The Royal Saudi Navy will become a beast as well soon.. it is taking all this time because KSA is prioritizing the transfer of advanced technology and know how in ship building from Engines to stealth ship body design to navigation and weapons management systems.. and everything in between.. The only important purchase was the 4 US MMSC + another optional 4..and it comes with some ToT too..
