I agree a lot of those grave places are nothing more than places of Shirk.

Such a shame people ruined it by worshipping tombs rather than worshipping God.
Shirk? Who has committed shirk at the graves of the blessed Sahaba RadiAllahanhu in Saudi Arabia?

Who worshipped graves? Do Hindus live in Saudi Arabia?

.
Moving of graves in populated areas is a worldwide practice and it happens in most Muslim countries too..Hajj pilgrims numbers have jumped from a million or two to more than 20 million in the last decade.. try to accommodate them otherwise..KSA started with tall buildings and that was not enough..besides, any moving of graves or shrines has to be approved by scholars according to Islamic practices.. So the ones crying here should try to see facts and realities instead of being biased which shows their inferiority or superiority complex when it comes to Saudi Arabia..
And the real question is: what is more important for Muslims and their religion? allowing more Muslims to do their obligation of Hajj or hanging on to a grave that can be simply displaced..but not destroyed?
Your talking about the blessed graves of Allah almighty beloved people. Those blessed people are resting in those graves.
It's not about the stone, it's about the greatest personalities in the history of mankind who are resting there.

Can you not understand this?

Lol you literally sound like these Salafi retards... did you actually know what shirk means?
By your logic Kabaa is also shirk.

Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (fifth Shia imam) (AS):

… it is not allowed that somebody builds a structure (building) taller than Kaaba.

Clock tower is kind of weird thing. I mean, I can't understand why this thing exists there. Seems quite not fitting in environment..gives me a feeling that this thing, although purposefully build, but the purpose is kind of weird and unknown.

try 56 inches times 2.5
Thank you, I m OK outside home.

I know what shirk means please dont lecture me about my religion.

Answer this question going to the grave and asking for blessings or intercession from some dead person is shirk or not.

Answer that everytime I talk about this unconvient truth you either get called a salafi or a wahabi by some ignorant person.

By the way Kaabah is not a graveyard or some tomb of some righteous person.

They are dead you honestly think praying or rubbing your forehead to their graves is going to bless you.

I dont like the clocktowers or the skyscrapers in Makkah they should have not been built in the first place. It should stay the way it is and a Ottoman fort got blown to pieces to make way for a skyscraper.

What is shirk about old Islamic sights?

Nobody worships these buildings and graves...

You don't pray to their graves or to them.
Something to think about. Do we pray to the kaba, do we bow down to the kaba, some people kiss kaba, do they worship it, people kiss the Blackstone and touch it, do they worship it?

Muslims visit the graves, give Salaam, do dua to Allah almighty in front of his beloved servant. The Muslim belief is that graves are sacred places, the blessed personalities in the graves pray to Allah almighty, are doing dua for the ummah.

Muslims belief is different than the non Muslims, when somebody dies then we believe it's the beginning of a new life. Death is not the end of anything .

Shirk means the highest level of kufr. Anyone who commits shirk is same as a non Muslim. He becomes mushrik. It's a very serious accusation. I've seen videos of TTP calling Pakistan army officers and government as mushrikeen, this is what justified their bombing campaign.

Most Muslims don't know what shirk means and they use this word lightely. They need to understand a Muslim life comes with great responsibility. They will be asked on the day of judgement.

Some Muslims incorrectly believe it's shirk to visit graves and they must be destroyed.
What they need to learn is blessed servants of Allah almighty are buried in the graves. Muslims don't visit stone but visit the people.

Prophet peace be upon him said visit graves. Prophet peace be upon him used to visit Jannatul baqqi and Jannatul maula.

It has been advised for many times, to avoid posting of discussion which attracts Religious Debate but mostly, results in Religious & Sectarian. Lets not use religion to support our respective strategical differences or rivalry.

There will be no further reminder.
